We enjoyed 2 really good meals from an enthusiastic and talented chef. Very good value.Certainly the best place to eat in Beer.

Shame about our last meal at Steamers. Most years since 2007 we've holidayed in Beer and always looked forward to a meal at Steamers but this time they did not meet the brief. The brief was: fine dining at a pre-booked table for 8pm. We arrived fifteen minutes early and appreciated being advised that one chef had phoned in sick... More

Had a great evening in this friendly bistro style restaurant. It was a pleasure to be welcomed and served by genuine, intrusive and engaged staff. We had the 2 course set menu at £15 each and it was excellent value. The quality, taste and presentation of the food was superb and worth every penny - I would have no hesitation... More

What a lovely restaurant. Brilliant food, excellent service. Word of warning, you best book or you have not got a chance of getting in. Had the set menu for £18 for three course meal with coffee. What a fantastic deal.

Steamers is mainly a fish restaurant in the beautiful seaside town of Beer in Devon. The atmosphere is conducive of relaxation and elegance, the service great and the food beautifully and tastefully prepared and presented. Prices Reasonable

Our family has been returning to Steamers for many years now & have never been disappointed. This is a great restaurant if you love a high quality dining experience and have children. There is a small toy & book selection at the entrance & my son really enjoyed selecting a toy & book to take to the table. The food... More

The service was brilliant and they were really accommodating for any dietary requirements. The food was excellent, although slightly pricey. Its a comfortable restaurant and you don't feel rushed. Just make sure you book as it does get busy.
