A friendly proprietor with equally friendly and efficient staff who work hard to produce an enjoyable dining experience at reasonable prices. A special mention should be made for the Dutch chef who has an excellent sense of humour. Ask to try their Honey flavoured Raki. Superb

Two visits made. had the shrimp sangaki starter both times as the dish is enough for two to share. Big shrimps in cheese & tomato sauce very nice indeed. I had the beef stifado as a main and it was simply gigantic and I could only manage to eat just over half of it. My wife had the Boukari which... More

We spent 2 weeks in Agia Marina and ended up eating here more than anywhere else. The food is delicious and the portions are very generous. We ended up ordering one meal between us with a salad to accompany it to save wasting food! We were made to feel very welcome and they obviously appreciated our repeat business, which they... More

We were a bit disappointed as we had read good reviews in advance. The personnel seemed to be very busy and they "ran" around. The greek salad was not so good and fish they recommended did not taste good at all. Maybe we made wrong choices :(

Great restaurant, with very good food and service, although I expected to find a little more meat in my pasticcio. My husband is a fan of lamb and Horiatiko won the award for best lamb in Crete.

3rd year holidaying in Agia Marina and we never miss visiting this restaurant at least 4 times during our stay. By far, the best restaurant in the town. Don't miss ordering giouvetsi which is simply amazing!

During our stay in Agia Marina we tried several tavernas and we cannot complain as the overall experience was certainly great...but this one was probably the best and that's why we came back a second time as well. Lovely food, tasty, great portions as well! we tried both meat and fish and everything was amazing, also the pate' of olives... More
