We have been to Cotillo many times and have eaten in most of the restaurants in the town but the Blue Cow is consistent in quality food and atmosphere and is in a fantastic location.

As soon as they asked if we had booked a table and then kept us waiting, we should have left. The waiter was beyond rude and told the children off when they didn't order fish. Their food was extremely salty but the waiter wasn't interested. I had the goat stew, which was very tasty but we wouldn't return at any... More

Lovely staff and location. Although we had lunch here and just wanted a light salad, we watched as the guys served up the fish which looked fantastic and they boned the fish brilliantly. would recommend this restaurant to everyone, especially if you love fish !!

We ordered the seafood paella and were told it was a 45 minute wait. We didn't mind because the restaurant is lovely and the view is great. We ordered starters of canarian potatoes and goats cheese in filo pastry. Both really tasty. When the paella came it was enormous! We really shouldn't have had the starters. Paella was packed with... Amazing place in the old port, very well cooked fish, paella was stunning and portions are very consistent. Also Pulpo a la Gallega and shrimps were very good, nice wine and dessert too. Owners are french and very friendly. A must if you ar in El Cotillo for a dinner at sunset!

A truly lovely setting for a meal - we were seated quickly and had a fantastic view of sea and surrounding area - i don't think it is actually possible to have a bad view! the food was fantastic - not a large menu but the fish was fantastic. I'd go back again every time.

La vaca azul is a really great place to have a non touristy meal at the sea. The food is all hand made with fresh local ingrediences. The service was super super nice and we spend a great afternoon. Make sure to ask for a table outside with sea view.

A relaxed, informal restaurant with a fantastic view of the old harbour from outdoor seating. The pricing and the service is very good and the old place always seems quite busy with happy customers, which I take as a good sign. I've eaten here 3 times in the past year and never been disappointed with the mixed fish grill, which... More

Great position, with upper terraces overlooking the harbour and sea. The 'fresh' fish on display in the chill cabinet by the door however looked anything BUT fresh and the menu prices were quite high, as there were cheaper better options locally so we didnt try it.
