Amazing place in the old port, very well cooked fish, paella was stunning and portions are very consistent. Also Pulpo a la Gallega and shrimps were very good, nice wine and dessert too. Owners are french and very friendly. A must if you ar in El Cotillo for a dinner at sunset!

A truly lovely setting for a meal - we were seated quickly and had a fantastic view of sea and surrounding area - i don't think it is actually possible to have a bad view! the food was fantastic - not a large menu but the fish was fantastic. I'd go back again every time.

La vaca azul is a really great place to have a non touristy meal at the sea. The food is all hand made with fresh local ingrediences. The service was super super nice and we spend a great afternoon. Make sure to ask for a table outside with sea view.

A relaxed, informal restaurant with a fantastic view of the old harbour from outdoor seating. The pricing and the service is very good and the old place always seems quite busy with happy customers, which I take as a good sign. I've eaten here 3 times in the past year and never been disappointed with the mixed fish grill, which... More

Great position, with upper terraces overlooking the harbour and sea. The 'fresh' fish on display in the chill cabinet by the door however looked anything BUT fresh and the menu prices were quite high, as there were cheaper better options locally so we didnt try it.

There is seating both inside and outside, with outside areas ideal for lunch, but would have been a bit draughty for dinner when we were there. The staff were very welcoming, the seating comfortable with the tables not too close... More

We went to this restaurant for my daughter's birthday as we had been there the previous year and loved the food. The staff were friendly and my 5 year old and 8 year old had the king prawns. My 5 year old was struggling to peel the prawns and a waiter came over straight away and peeled them for him.... More

We went for a meal this year and there was 9 of us (6 adults and 3 children). The staff were attentive and very good with our children. The meal was fantastic, my husband had the roasted goat and it was very tasty! I had paella with one of my sons and it was tasty with plenty of fish. The... More
