I was welcomed like I was a member of the family. The staff are incredibly attentive and helpful without being obtrusive, they speak a lot of languages too! Bread is served fresh, crispy and hot with lovely Mojo Verde and Alioili. The grilled octopus was amazingly good and very big, so much so: that I wished I hadn't ordered a... More

Although tempted, we did not order a starter, as the Paella was very generously portioned. It takes 30 minutes to prepare and is well worth the wait. Lots of flavours and very fresh ingredients. Probably the best Paella we have ever tasted. Unfortunately we had no room for dessert. Next time perhaps? Very good value .

I went to "Blue cow" together with my wife for lunch. The food was great, views spectacular, very nice service. The only thing we didn't like was the guy taking pictures with no word of explanation, who after we finished our meal meal came to our table with printed versions, keyrings etc. forcing a sale. I think this is really... More

Sunday lunch at Vaca Azul: the best food we had anywhere during our two weeks on Fuerteventura and Lanzarote. Lovely bright, airy inside-outside family style restaurant, with cheerful, efficient and expert staff. Best garlic prawns, grilled fish and homemade cheesecake ever. Would recommend getting a table outside downstairs, but upstairs and inside are good too!

Back to Cotillo and another chance for the Vaca Azul. OK, not such a horror meal like the last time but really, this place is still living on its reputation. There are since much better places to eat in this village. Service and staff attitude better but the food is still under-flavoured. El Callao and la Marisma just next door... More

Lovely food and service in a romantic location overlooking the sea and harbour. Slightly more expensive than other restaurants but worth it.
