Very good home made food, always prepared to order and served hot. Off the beaten track but a great find. Do give it a try when in el cotillo

We ate here twice during a recent 6 week stay in el Cotillo and had very enjoyable meals on both occasions. As others have mentioned, the lighting is a little over-bright and the chairs are downright hard (I have a bony spine and had to nick a cushion from a neighbouring table to shove behind my back to make it... Had a really good evening meal here. Did not think we could get in as it was really busy, especially for a Monday night, but the lady waitress found us a table. I started with a mixed tapas which was huge, followed by the fish stew which when it was served, I thought they had got the order wrong as... More

Were recommended to try by residents of next door apartment who knew the owners. Though food was good (great fish), we felt ignored and not well looked after. eg 15mins for drinks and menu orders after the meal 20 mins without service had to interrupt tomorrow's table cloths and ask for la cuenta. Only after paying and on the way... More

Arrived quite late but still able to accommodate us. A few things were not available on the menu but still had a lovely meal. We shared a platter which were fabulous and I would rate it very highly! I had the gnocchi which was yum and so filling. Service was good. Seemed to be quite popular as there were a... More

Gustavo is our most favourite chef in the world. His seafood dishes are quite unique and Natalie always makes you welcome. Add to this the best prices on Fuerteventura and you have it made!!!

We ate here two nights in a row. The moules in cream and garlic on the first night were truly divine. Sadly not available on the second night. The fish of the day was salmon which was good. The Ron con miel, rum with honey served gratis after the meal was a lovely touch. The warmth and friendliness of our... More

We ate here on our last night in the area, the food was excellent, a fish stew and rabbit provencal, both extremely well cooked, service was good and can understand there are so many other excellent reviews.

We come to El Cotillo for 10 days every January and always visit Rustica for dinner at least twice. Great service, food and Prosecco! Our only suggestion would be to dim the lighting as this would create a more ambient atmosphere with the candles. Lovely x
