We had a couple of lovely meals here and also spent a few afternoons just with drinks on the lower terrace. Sangria is divine and service very efficient and friendly. We found the portions large and the prices fair. All in all including the views a very good place to go :)

The restaurant is first line to the old harbour of el cotillo with a fantastic sea view. We ate grilled calamari with potatoes and hot garlic scampis at sunset time. The food was sadly not very good: the potatoes tasted old, the calamari was a little chewy and the scampis were watery. The value for money wasn't okay. We cannot... More

We looked at all the restaurants by the old harbour in El Cotillo and chose the Mirador as it's menu seemed the best AND it had a wonderful upper deck over-looking the Atlantic Ocean. Our friends ordered a paella for two and it was twice the size of any other we had seen on the island & they said it... More

After a particularly poor meal at The Blue Cow (paella which seemed to have been in the oven for hours), the next evening we decided to try La Mirador. What a contrast. The food was consistantly excellent, the staff friendly and attentive without being obsequious, the service prompt. It was so good we ate there four days in sucession, working... More

"El Mirador" was recommended on Trip Advisor as one of the best in El Cotillo. Since we'd already been in the excellent "Vaca Azul" across the street we wanted to try El Mirador. We were very disappointed: the ingredients used were clearly not the most fresh ones, the cooking was greasy and heavy, no attention given to arrangement whatsoever. The... More

We drove across the dirt track from the Port in Corraejo to El Cotillo and came across this amazing restaurant that is opposite a bostrious stretch of coast line. You are able to eat fine food whislt watch the waves crash against the cliffs and breath in the fresh sea air. Amazing location and fantistic food!

Don't bother with the Tapas & Wine offer. You get eight dishes of tapas that you do not choose and probably wouldn't choose. It all comes together and the fish and meat dishes are tasteless. The Sangria is good though. The chocolate torte pudding was good and would have been even better if the base wasn't frozen.

Visited on November 5th and 6th ( we are currently sitting outside about to eat again) and found food and drink fantastic. The staff are brilliant so very pleasant and great service. The views are to die for overlooking the old harbour. Well worth a visit.

By far the worst food we had in all over Fuerteventura and it was by the way the most expensive, too. Steak was drenched in flavourless and lovelessly poured goat cheese. The prawns and the octopus didn't taste fresh at all. An awful experience!

Mondays and Tuesdays are the days for restaurant closures in El Cotillo so we ended up here by default (a bit of a panic choice). It looked fairly busy and we had seen the tapas offer on the board outside. We were ushered upstairs and made to sit on the front line to make it look busier. The waiters were... More
