Amazing view and good food

This place has changed hands numerous times over the last few years, being a Mexican restaurant a while ago. That was not great but now big improvement. Lovely sea views and you can sit out of the wind outside or inside. Great menu, food good and house wine excellent. Staff very friendly. Would... read more

Very good food with a sea view over the surfing beaches. Alfonso is a particularly good waiter! Seafood and steak are both good. Nicely priced for the bigger family

The best thing about this restaurant was the view from the terrace. When we visited we were the only couple in there and this was possibly a clue to the quality of the food. i ordered chicken in a curry sauce and the food that came was disgusting: the sauce was bright yellow and had split and the chicken underneath... Visited twice, was not disappointed on either occasion. Both times we were given a sample of a starter to try, much appreciated. The mains were very nice, quite generous portions and good service. On one occasion the waiter even left the bottle of honey rum on the table for us and another group. Would recommend.

We sat on the covered terrace watching the sun go down. We drank excellent house red that was far too reasonable in price for the quality. The waiters made us welcome and were warm and friendly. The paella was particularly good and even the chef came out to ask if the customers were happy.I had several meals here returning as... More

Somehow the service the food quality, the view, and the wine all came together for us on our last night. We've tried all the El Cotillo restaurants and we enjoyed this one the most, somewhat unexpectedly. It's good that there is some healthy competition in El Cotillo and we will be back.

We ate here twice during a 2 week stay in El Cotillo. On both occasions the food was first class. The first time was a mixed paella for 2 which was very good & served well. Plenty of fish & chicken with the rice full of flavour. We shared a plate of mussels to start which, again, were excellent. Second... More

I think my title sums it all up. We visited several other restaurants while we were there (apart from the other one they own - El Roque), but we ended up going back. They have a good menu selection (if you're not a veggie) and, honestly, the grilled octopus was delicious. They also have quite effective gas patio heaters on... More

We'd walked past this place several nights while in El Cotillo but there never seemed to be anyone in there, but this night there was so we went in. The waiters wanted us to sit outside and fortunately there was a table right by a heater. We placed our order and that's where things started to go wrong. Another couple... More

Our return visit here did not disappoint, really like their varied menu. Delicious aubergine and honey starter and nice chocolate pudding. We found the service fine, but on the first night we noticed they drafted in a waiter from El Roque which apparently they also own. However our meal was so good we went back the next night, but on...
