Description: There’s a reason Colleys has spent 25 years as one of Lechlade’s must-visit restaurants, with chef patron Donald Cartwright’s service and cuisine continuing to impress locals and visitors. The dedicated team at Colleys understand that on different days, and for different reasons, guests require flexibility and choice. From Tuesday to Friday the modern Brasserie & Grille menu offers classics alongside timeless Colleys favourites. The restaurant’s passion for singling out great plates and making them their own is evident, with guests returning time after time for steak burgers made in-house with duck fat buns and local ground steak, or beautifully crusted pies that, once tasted, are a lifelong yardstick for all other pies. The Brasserie at Colleys provides casual dining with attentive, friendly, knowledgeable service. Brasserie open Tuesday – Saturday lunch 12 – 2 p.m. Tuesday – Friday evening 6.30 – 9.30 p.m.Colleys is known throughout the South West for four-course ‘table for the evening’ set price menus. This classic menu is served on Friday and Saturday evenings. Everything from the daily baked breads through to the famous Colleys puddings is crafted by Donald’s longstanding brigade. Bookings are recommended as there is a limit to how many tables are available ‘for the evening’. Classic Colleys 4 course dinner Friday & Saturday – tables at 7.30 p.m.Sunday lunch at Colleys (tables at 12.30pm) sees a return to real roasting with overnight slow-cooked shoulder of Gloucester Old Spot pork, Scottish beef sirloin, duck fat potatoes and serious Yorkshire puddings. Bread & butter pudding or syrup sponge with custard will always remind you of how a family lunch should be – built on flavour, understanding and relaxation.

For our wedding anniversary we went to Colleys for their 'Indian Street Food Bazaar' night. Epic stuff. A menu is provided for information rather than choice as everything on it is served to you. Four exquisite starters for the two of us two share - not so big as to spoil our appetites for the main courses (five of them!)... More

Dined here with our daughter and son-in-law - their Christmas Present to us, and what a wonderful present it turned out to be. Greeted at the door on arrival, coats taken, and shown to our seats in lovely surroundings. Every diner arrives at the same given time 7-7.30 and we all more or less finished at about 11.00. We were... More

A good restaurant with friendly staff and not too expensive. Good food and varied menu, particularly the deserts and well presented. And if you like gin, there are around 60 to choose from!

We arrived at 12.45 to be greeted by the staff which was a nice touch...... All 20 odd of us had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon with a superb lunch and a few guests took advantage of the extra pud at no cost!

We met at Colleys for Sunday lunch and were not disappointed. Arriving as requested at 12.30 we were met by the staff lining up to greet us! A nice touch! The varied and interesting menu was explained to us and we were invited to choose a starter. Mine was delicious. The main course choices were brought to our table and... More

Ate with friends, I had the falafel, duck & pear/ginger cheesecake - all lovely. Every course for us all was piping hot, beautifully cooked & beautifully presented. The service was friendly & helpful, & the £27 bottle of 2010 Malbec was very nice & reasonably priced. The restaurant itself is old & quaint, but roomy & comfy, & the bar... More

Delicious food - I had the fishcakes, duck breast and blackberry chaos, my husband had duck terrine, venison and tartiflette and bread and butter pudding. All very tasty and well presented. Service was excellent, friendly waiter and the chef brought out some courses and gave us info on how it was cooked. It was a Tues night in Jan, so... More

We met a number of family members for a three course Sunday lunch. The staff were brilliant, articulate and attentive. The food was amazing and they brought it out before you order your main! We all agreed we'd be repeating the experience.
