There’s a reason Colleys has spent 25 years as one of Lechlade’s must-visit restaurants, with chef patron Donald Cartwright’s service and cuisine continuing to impress locals and visitors. The dedicated team at Colleys understand that on different days, and for different reasons, guests require flexibility and choice. From Tuesday to Friday the modern Brasserie & Grille menu offers classics alongside timeless Colleys favourites. The restaurant’s passion for singling out great plates and making them their own is evident, with guests returning time after time for steak burgers made in-house with duck fat buns and local ground steak, or beautifully crusted pies that, once tasted, are a lifelong yardstick for all other pies. The Brasserie at Colleys provides casual dining with attentive, friendly, knowledgeable service. Brasserie open Tuesday – Saturday lunch 12 – 2 p.m. Tuesday – Friday evening 6.30 – 9.30 p.m.Colleys is known throughout the South West for four-course ‘table for the evening’ set price menus. This classic menu is served on Friday and Saturday evenings. Everything from the daily baked breads through to the famous Colleys puddings is crafted by Donald’s longstanding brigade. Bookings are recommended as there is a limit to how many tables are available ‘for the evening’. Classic Colleys 4 course dinner Friday & Saturday – tables at 7.30 p.m.Sunday lunch at Colleys (tables at 12.30pm) sees a return to real roasting with overnight slow-cooked shoulder of Gloucester Old Spot pork, Scottish beef sirloin, duck fat potatoes and serious Yorkshire puddings. Bread & butter pudding or syrup sponge with custard will always remind you of how a family lunch should be – built on flavour, understanding and relaxation.

We have always chosen to go to the classic Colleys evening but chose to try the midweek brasserie menu for a change. We used one of their offers which gave us two three course meals and a glass of bubbly for a set price. The menu was varied and the food was as lovely as we have come to expect.... More

This was our second visit since the fabulous old fashioned Dinner events. The venue was less than 50% occupied and of course we were comparing the event with the original owners service and ambience. All four off us were disappointed and we all agreed that we would not be returning for Dinner but we may give lunch a try. Our... More

Whilst saying with family we ate at Colleys. It's in a lovely village but parking was quite limited. The restaurant has a gin bar with a huge selection of gins which are served beautifully. The menu was set price four courses with a good choice of meat and fish as well as a vegetarian option. We ordered our first course... More

Myself and my boyfriend celebrated our first anniversary here and it was a great choice! We took advantage of the three course for 2 people for £35 and I would happily have paid double for the quality. The food is amazing- it's well presented, not overly large portions and tastes fantastic. The service is second to none, attentive but not... More

I went there with my family and it was the best meal that I have ever I had. The starter was pleasant and light (the potted salmon) and it was just right! I had pulled pork for main and I enjoyed it thoroughly. I was too full for a pudding but they looked delicious. Living local to Lechlade, we usually... More

I first went here in 2002 while I was on business in the area and always vowed to return if I was ever in that part of the country again. It took a while and meant staying in a B&B for the night specifically just so we could go here, but it was definitely worth it. The night we went... More
