There’s a reason Colleys has spent 25 years as one of Lechlade’s must-visit restaurants, with chef patron Donald Cartwright’s service and cuisine continuing to impress locals and visitors. The dedicated team at Colleys understand that on different days, and for different reasons, guests require flexibility and choice. From Tuesday to Friday the modern Brasserie & Grille menu offers classics alongside timeless Colleys favourites. The restaurant’s passion for singling out great plates and making them their own is evident, with guests returning time after time for steak burgers made in-house with duck fat buns and local ground steak, or beautifully crusted pies that, once tasted, are a lifelong yardstick for all other pies. The Brasserie at Colleys provides casual dining with attentive, friendly, knowledgeable service. A wonderful anniversary meal!

This was not just a meal but a real experience which my husband I loved. The one sitting in a night meant there was no rush. The food was wonderful, and I was so incredibly full after all the courses and my two desserts! The servers were lovely and chatty. A great experience.

This was my first visit to Colleys since 1991. We used to go there often any excuse we could find. In those days you would have to book at least six weeks in advance and the place would be packed. It's easy to see that they are trying to trade on the good old days but it's not working. The... More

Another visit to this lovely restaurant. Superb local meats, superbly cooked with such a charming atmosphere. A little bit of Paris. The staff are so professional, with warmth and passion as the chefs must be for the quality of their food. I always think that, without a good front of house, the rest is never a hundred per cent. Thought we would try after reading some good reviews, welcoming pleasant dining area, drinks order took forever, but that can be overlooked if the rest of the lunch was as good as reviews. Sadly not, they must have been running out of vegetables as we all had very small portions compared to other diners, the meat was excellent except for... More

Best restaurant I have ever been too. Amazing menus, most excellent food and wonderful friendly staff. Been numerous times to both ckassic colleys, my favourite of their menus, and to the brasserie. Cannot fault it!

Went with friends last night, my husband and me were revisiting after 20 years and we weren't disappointed. The food was amazing, where else can you get 2 desserts. The waiters were friendly, never rushed you, lovely atmosphere. Would recommend to friends

We recently visited on a Thursday night and sat in the brasserie. Having not visited the restaurant for a year, we expected it to be just as good as we remembered. The food was average, steak was Ok but not great, a little bland and we noticed the portions have become smaller. One of our group ordered a Fish Thai... More

We have just returned from a truly lovely evening at Colleys in Lechlade. The food was well cooked and beautifully presented with great service and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. The staff were attentive but not over bearing and were happy to help us with changing one of our courses due to a food allergy. We had a great evening and... More
