Tasty

Very small menu but of excellent quality. Especially the fillet steak that I had. Also a great selection of gin and tonics!

First impressions were very good. In general, everything ran smoothly from the warm welcome, the communication of the different menus and general attitude of the staff. The food was at a very high quality and presentation. I was intrigued by the duck and reblochon shepherds pie. Everything was polished off. It did take about 2 to 3 attempts to have... More

The food, service and ambience were all outstanding. We ate from the table d'hote menu at £25, which was excellent value. The wine list has many bottles around £20. We will definitely be back.

Last night we celebrated my father-in-law's 70th birthday at Colleys. 2 members of the family travelled all the way from Brighton to be there, and the rest of us travelled from Cheltenham. It was well worth the effort, my starter of smoked salmon was lovely, but completely out shined by my burger & chips that were amazing, nicest burger I... More

When visiting a relative in Lechlade, its been the habit to patronise 1 eatery thusfar, so it was a chance to try another and I picked Colley from the website. Delighted that they took the time and trouble to telephone and confirm our email booking, welcome and service was warm and friendly and the food as a light lunch was... More

We arrived quite early so were supported by numerous well trained staff the room we ate in was light and airy there were a few smaller tables and two larger party tables laid up As the evening progressed these filled up but at no time did we feel crowded. The waiters were great allowing us as much time as we... More

Having lived in Swindon my entire life, I have been used to consistent culinary disappointment. However this is thankfully NOT the case at Colleys! A lovely atmosphere, and exquisite food has sealed this as a firm favourite for me! The new flexible dining style is a breath of fresh air over the old "Classic Colleys". I took a trip into... More

we dined with 7 friends after being several times before. However this time was not the Colleys experience we were expecting, and travelling 40 miles, to be met by a standard restaurant was most disappointing to say the least. We probably would not be visiting again. £9 for a gin and tonic is disgusting!!! Please bring back the old Colley's

Having visited Colleys previously and experienced the "parade of food" we felt that the new style Colleys lacked the "magic and was not as impressive as before. When we arrived we were not greeted immediately and were seated in the smaller room at the front of the restaurant rather than the bigger hall which was ok but just did not... More

Had a lovely mellow night sampling the many different gins, each served with style and a smile. The manager was knowledgeable and friendly and I am so glad there are many more gins still to try! We will be back to try some more very soon.
