Feel completely cheated by this restaurant. 20 minutes for a drink, when maybe six tables being used. 45 minutes for an unseasoned amuse bouche of yesterday's vegetables on a bit of potato. Stale bread. Really really stale bread. Sea food starter of smoked and marinated fish was nothing like as described. Left in lemon juice until grey and tough and... More

I'd been to the Leatherne Bottel a couple of times a few years ago and was happy with the food and service, but a recent visit was disappointing. I suspect they may have been short of staff, as only one manager and a waiter – both impersonal – seemed to be on duty. But having been seated and offered drinks... More

I have visited the restaurant here for many years and it is now an Italian. It is not trying to be a fine dining restaurant but it does succeed in being a very nice Italian offering very good Italian food. With nice white table cloths it is well appointed. Our starters, fried calamari with prawns and prawns in garlic were... More

We visited this restaurant on a grey June day but the sun came out for us as soon as the food arrived. Our friends have been regular visitors to this restaurant so they knew what to expect but from now on when we rack our brains for a very special place to eat this will be the top of our... More

I have dined at this restaurant (in its previous incarnations) for over 15 years. Rossini has a good concept but it has not captured the magic of the location. The staff are really lovely and the food is okay. A good local restaurant but no longer a destination restaurant.

I was supposed to create an account on tripadvisor long time ago, but the visit to the Rossini made me finally do it! Me and my wife with a little baby girl arrived for a lunch on a Saturday afternoon. It was our 1 year wedding anniversary. What can I say? The waiter, who spoken fluent English, offered to pick...
