As an italian who loves food very much I am pretty picky about restaurants and most of the time have been deluded by local cuisine and even more when tried to find the italian taste in italian restaurants here in UK. At Rossini I haven't been deluded, true fresh italian savoury food awesomely cooked. In particular, the fish is really... More

At last! This restaurant, with its amazing Thames setting, has been terrible for ages but the new Italian team has transformed it in to a much lighter, airier setting and the service is excellent and charming. The menu is interesting and everything seems genuinely freshly prepared. The puddings (save the zabaglione) are unusually good and original for an Italian restaurant.... More

A very warm welcome, a nice interior and great food & service. We arrived very early and sat out on the waterfront to admire the view. Mr. Rossini came out to greet us, even bringing us coffee despite the restaurant not yet being open - it was only 4pm. We dined at 6:30. The cannelloni starter was light & delicious,... More

Never trust a very long menu unless the restaurant is big and hectic. Rossinis wasn't busy last week at dinner. The overweight and sweaty patron was welcoming. The Prosecco was curiously sweet . The anchovies were falling to pieces and tasteless, very far from fresh. The calves liver was cut far too thick and cooked way too long. My friends... More

My friend and I went for lunch here yesterday. We sat out which was lovely. Our waiter was particularly friendly and helpful. The manager/head waiter was lovely. The free entree we received from the chef was a nice touch. I went for the lobster ravioli special which was lovely but a little salty. I wold certainly recommend the restaurant and... More

My husband and I have frequently enjoyed dinners at the Leatherne Bottel over the years. It was a special place to go, with a warm welcome as soon as you entered, excellent food and good service. I've thought hard as to how I should word this review after we went for dinner last Saturday, and found that all the above... More

We visited this restaurant on Friday eve with friends and had a really lovely evening. We were made to feel so welcome on arrival and the service continued to be excellent for the rest of the evening. The food was delicious authentic Italian rather than chain Italian. We will definitely return soon!
