We booked a table for 11 to cheer us up after a funeral and the Foret did not fail us, we were warmly welcomed, promptly attended to and had a delicious meal, I strongly recommend the 'cote a l'os' but the 'filet americain' was equally good, there is a vast choice of beer on the tap and they are all... This restaurant only was full in this little village and we understood why. Very good fresh food with a great ambiance. Can recommend the Lemon meringua pie with coconut pasta, very very good....... very simple but good quality, a great moment and a good price. sometimes no need to search complicated

Went here last night. Had the carrot soup, nice but tepid. Server was a bit off, was always in conversation with other tables when dealing with our table, which was not great. We had T-bone steaks which were very good, big and perfectly cooked. However the frites were soggy and oily! I wanted cream and mushroom sauce but with garlic... More

Real Belgian Brassserie with typical design. Waiters very friendly ! However It can be very busy on nice summmer evenings and be a bit chaotic. Typical Belgian dishes at correct prices . The combination of the typica interior of the brasserie, the cosy atmosphere and the "local" food makes it worth going for a family dinner. You will not be... More

We had a good meal before we had to attend a party in the neighborhood. Restaurant established in 1908. Therefore we had some light dishes. Starting of with some oysters and afterwards some fish and mussels. It is more apparent that the locals know their locals here and that is what it is all about here. Mind you the menu... More

Warm welcoming service in perfectly situated restaurant. Next to forest so great to combine with pre/post lunch walk. Good brasserie style food with excellent steaks and fish. Nice selection of beers and wine.

A large group of us including children visited for sunday lunch and we found it to be excellent. Our large order was dealt with well and there were no complaints with the food.

Having been to so many brasseries recommended by one friend or another and usually a ho-hum result sadly this is most assuredly NOT in that! No reservation, cold call, on a weekend evening (a bit later - 8pm) there we are. Table for two? No problem right this way. What language would you prefer - French, Flemish or English? A... More

If you're looking for something typically Belgian, you're at the right address. The brasserie has a classical local decoration, made of tiles and wooden chairs and tables. The staff is also typically Belgian, speaking a mix of Flemish and French and is particularly welcoming, warm and friendly. The staff only would already make this place a must. The menu is... More

My family and I often frequent this restaurant, in fact when my girls come home from the UK it's a must! The waiters are extremely friendly and efficient and the food is always superb. Would highly recommend. Everything is good, but the flllet steak is the best! (Also good for moules frites)
