Visited with friends for a birthday meal. Staff were friendly (as usual), service excellent and food amazing. Great atmosphere. The halibut main course was just lovely.

Have eaten here a number of times in the past and having high expectations of "San Giovannis" was a little apprehensive, celebrating our wedding anniversay here, seeing their trip advisor rating had dropped. I am happy to say any concerns were quickly laid to rest. We were shown to our table which over looked the beautiful setting by courteous friendly... More

Four of us went to celebrate my mother in laws birthday and we were all extremely pleased with the food. So tasty! Only thing the men could gripe about was that there are no draught beers only small bottles. Perfect location especially for a special occasion. Its an absolutely beautiful place inside and the grounds

Lovely food, good wine, good service. One of my favourite local eating places only downside is isn't within walking distance from our house so one of us has to drive.

This was my third visit and boy was it good! I have to say I have been to many Italian restaurants but this place really takes some beating. You certainly get the wow factor when you arrive. The staff are first class and very friendly , the choice of food is very good with options for all. The wine list... More

We were really pleased that they served all day and could cater for our early dining request with our one year old son. Very nice service. Beautiful restaurant with fab outside area overlooking a lake. The menu was good although we were disappointed they didn't offer a child's menu and didn't adapt dishes to suit our son (or the adult... More

Great service, great location but the food was awful. I had chicken that was tough as old boots swamped in a gloopy sauce. My business colleague had steak which came over done (he asked for rare) and also covered in a gloopy sauce. My side order of vegetables was cold. The wine selection was average but very over priced.

Having heard and read so much about this place, I booked for a special occasion. What a let down it was. The food was below average. Basket of homemade bread was 5 slices of a shop brought french stick, probably Aldi too by the look of it....no taste to it at all, no butter, just tasteless oil. Pizza tasted of... More
