Something you can consider....

Saffron has great food but the servings of some menu is not worth it. Too small serving and some dishes are too pricey. Best are fish and chips, burgers, spare ribs and sandwiches the prices are good for the overall rating.

A variety of dishes that were good. Setting is beautiful. Service is quite good. But too expensive for what it is.

Ambiance was nice. Staff and service was great, but not the kitchen staff. We arrived late on Easter Sunday for lunch and without asking our children received event gift bags even though the kids Easter event was over, that was really nice. The food was different story. The food presentation was okay. The chicken adobe was good. The rice had... More

We were a family of 6people and had dinner here on our last night in BOHOL. We reserved early for a nice place , and was surprised to be given a table right infront of the live singers, all brightly lit up, with the speaker blasting right towards us. I immediately requested to move to another location, beside the pool,... More

Food in Saffron is good, although I wouldn't pay as much again to eat here. They need to widen their range and choices. Wish their prices were reasonable and competetive too!

Our server Mark recommended the White Marlin and it was excellent! The fish was fresh, firm, aromatic and perfectly grilled! My friend had the grilled prawns which were also excellent. Dessert was Turon de Bohol - a generous serving of fried banana rolls topped with vanilla ice cream. A glass of Chardonnay sealed the deal. Price is reasonable and the... More

Ate here quite a bit as we stayed at the resort and between the 4 of us we tried nearly everything on the menu. The food was indeed delicious but choice was limited and it only took a few meals for us to cover most things. Apparently new dishes are being added soon which would be great. More choice for... We enjoyed Breakfast every morning during our stay at Amorita resort. We did not dine at lunch or dinner though. The Breakfast is buffet style with a selection including cold and hot cereal, fresh fruit (the mango was the best), croissant, pan de sol, ensemada (although ran out many mornings). There is rice and garlic rice as well as corned... More

Saffron restaurant is a beautiful setting. The staff was plentiful and friendly. The sound system is not great and we asked for them to turn it down as it was harsh, not to mention bad music. The staff was immediately accommodating. The food was average as we found much of the food in the PHP thus far. That said, the... More

Cannot fault the lunches and dinners we set here. Although not a huge choice what we had was excellent. Nicely presented, very tasty. Excellent chicken ceaser salad and club sandwich. Beautifully prepared fish dishes and crispy calamari. Breakfast a bit more hit and miss but reasonable choice and the best mango ever.
