A lovely cafe/restaurant located in an old rail carriage adjacent to the Port William to Armidale railway. The views of the surrounding hills make this as unique location. The food and service is very good and well worth a visit.

What a place, simply stunning railway carriage, fantastic tea and homemade scones. Rounded off with a great little museum on the station platform

I had been on a walk (fairly epic by my standards) around the Glenfinnan viaduct and monument, and initially called in just for a quick snack of a coffee and a freshly made shortbread. Having visited the museum earlier in the day I got 10% off this order. Whilst enjoying my snack, I couldn't help but eye up the food... More

Having spent the whole day in Glenfinnan, we finished our trip at this quite extraordinary restaurant. It had just started to rain, so it was a great shelter as well. We had soup and toasties - delicious indeed. And the view - beautiful. Would definitely recommend.

The food was lovely they call it a light lunch but my sandwich filled me until 7pm. It was made with lovely uncut wholemeal bread and lashings of home cooked ham and served with a huge side salad. My husband had the smoked mackerel salad which again was wonderful. The railway carriage you eat in is done really well and... More

This is a lovely little place to go for a nice light lunch or snack and drink, a fantastic dining car in the style of the past and like stepping back in time for your lunch on the railway, all that is missing is the movement. Lovely food and atmosphere!

We had been up at Glenfinnan last year and saw the sign for this place but sadly didn't have time to stop. I made the point to check it out next time we came up and am so glad we did. The service was amazing, the staff are lovely. The food was delicious!! I was having a bit of a... More

As reviewers have said the situation and being in an old railway dinning car is lovely. The service was friendly and efficient. We didn't eat lunch but had drinks and cakes. The coffee was good the Earl Grey tea excellent and the shortbread and scones homemade and delicious. We'd come in again if heading this way.
