The piece de resistance of this hotel is their restaurant. It was a set meal of four courses and I felt like I had been teleported to a Michelin starred establishment. Seriously this meal was up there with the best meals I have had, anywhere. Quails eggs, sea bass (of course with crispy skin dahhlings) lamb cutlets, a trio of... More

It's a small place with a homely atmosphere. The restaurant is run by a family, and they are fabulous nice people! Food was good, lacked a bit of flavouring, but I guess that depends on the taste buds. All in all a good place to dine out, especially with such limited option,s it is as good as you can get... More

My wife and I spent a grumpy day driving to Glenfinnan and the highlight of the day was meeting Ina and her bubbly attitude and good natured service with a big smile from the heart. We were not expecting much and were absolutely delighted with the pork dish she served up for our supper. We enjoyed it so much that... More

My husband and I ate at the Princess House Restuarant whilst on a recent visit to Scotland and would love to eat there every night. The food is absolutely delicious with a good variety of options. Best of all though is the friendly service. Highly recommended

Stayed here for a couple of days during a recent trip to Scotland. The food - both breakfasts and dinner - was exceptional. All the produce is sourced from local suppliers and is beautifully prepared and presented by the Chef/Owner. For a small Hotel they also had a very extensive (and reasonably prized) wine list. If you're travelling the West... More

Up in the highlands, after a long walk at Glenfinnan there's only one place to go - The Prince's House. Great food, good beer and ales and friendly service - this place has it all. Go ahead order anything, you can't go wrong.

This was our Honeymoon Hotel a few years back and we always try and pop back for our anniversary, can't manage this year but they are so friendly we drove up just to say hello:) Delicious fresh ground coffee... and the home made shortbread to die for. Although we missed it on this trip, the food is absolutely fantastic. If... More

Stayed here after spending 3 days canoeing the length of Loch Shiel and out to sea. First impressions were very good and the staff were very helpful when booking in. The room was spotless and the big deep bath a welcome site....the water was piping hot too :-) Food and beer that night was brilliant and there wasn't a problem... More
