Truly the finest cuisine we have ever eaten - fine dining at its best.

We stayed for two nights in August and had dinner in the restaurant on both nights. Every single mouthful of every single course (6) was the most wonderful gastronomic experience. Kieran Kelly clearly takes considerable effort to source the finest Scottish ingredients and it shows in the food... read more

Atmosphere is a bit spartan but food is excellent, and the owners son is very charming. Portions are large!

This is a simple review really: I loved my experience here, stunning. I was travelling with my Dad and two good friends from Arizona on our way to Skye. We were the only guests staying over and we opted to have the fixed price taster menu. I will merely echo the other reviews: high class food executed with real skill... More

Deep in the lush verdance of the West Highlands is a remarkable culinary experience. Two minutes by foot from the Glenfinnan train station sits the Prince's House Hotel where guests (both overnight and not) are presented with the opportunity to indulge in a world class, multi-course, prix fix meal that is conceived, procured and prepared that day based on the... I would recommend the Prince's hotel The staff were hard working and friendly. The food was excellent and the location was ideal for where we wanted to visit

We ate in the bar and had a very wide selection of food. We chose smoked beef with oatcakes and local asparagus with duck egg and pancetta; and local lamb and local seabass. We drank Bitter and Twisted ale, pinot grigio and claret by the glass, and a wonderful whisky. Dessert was sticky date pudding and homemade vanilla ice cream.... More

My wife and I tried this restaurant in Glenfinnan as we were staying at the nearby Glenfinnan House Hotel and wanted to try something different. There is a small car park opposite the hotel and we were impressed on arrival to be greeted by name. The young lady who met us asked what we had been doing that day and... More

Excellent food and hosted by equally excellent people. The atmosphere was so friendly I only regret that we did not discover the restaurant earlier.

I have eaten here three or four times now and the standards are high. The hotel is run by a husband and wife team who look after food and service respectively. The former was really tasty and, it seemed, local fare - we had Arisaig mussels...fabulous; and local venison stew, really tasty.

All the good reviews on here are well deserved. The lady serving us (the co-owner) couldn't have been nicer and the food was lovely. It's also a relaxing place to eat in a beautiful part of the world.
