Booked this restaurant after seeing some good reviews. However, our experience there was not good! The restaurant looks smart enough and the menu and wine list looks good. We chose some seafood starters and they were reasonable but the main courses were very bad. I chose a steak which arrived raw. After sending it back to be cooked it came... More

In general we tend to avoid eating either at the seafront or in the square in PP as, quite often, you pay extra for the location – the exception for us is Los Faroles: Seafood is a speciality and you can ask to see today’s catch and they’ll happily bring it over. However, there are plenty of non-seafood options available... More

One thing you'll find in many restaurants around the port and old town is the wide selection of local and Mallorquin wines at good prices. The wine was the highlight of our visit. We started with fish soup and I had octopus galicean, both were good. Main of lamb chops was ok but my John Dory was overcooked. Service was... More

We made the mistake of having a starter and main course. Starter was a main course, main course was huge. Not complaining but put a stone on in weight having two servings. You have to eat here. The starter of fried squid is to die for but then you get a main meal (mine was T bone steak) that you... More

The owner of our hotel recommended Los Faroles to us as being the best fresh fish restaurant in town. We liked it a lot. The service was friendly and informative, the décor attractive, and the food - excellent (we both had Turbot for our main course).

Been to Los Faroles before and it's a good restaurant with a good reputation for fish cuisine. We were a group of 4 and ordered 2 meat and 2 fish dishes which were fine, however, the meat dishes were much better ironically, as one of the fish meals was not cooked fully which was a shame but we know this... My family and I visit Porte Polenca regularly and love to try different places ..... but we keep coming back to this place :-) It really is good, simple, beautifully cooked food at its best. The kids menu is way above. average ( real fish - not nuggets !) and the steak ( not just the fish !) is way... More

This is the best fish restaurant in town. It is a good idea to book if you want a seat in the evening. Ask for a table inside unless you want smokers around you outside.
