Well worth its top rating

Went on advice of TripAdvisor reviews and it was brilliant, exactly as described! Starters of garlic prawns were delicious and we had the fillet steak and Tournedos for mains. To put this place into perspective I had lamb shoulder for lunch in a seafront restaurant (won't mention the name but it was appropriate), it was tough, bland & hard to digest- this was our last day so I thought I'd make friends with my stomach by finding the best place in town for our evening meal to make amends.... As has been pointed out by previous reviews the restaurant is a few streets back from the main strip, but in reality a ten minute stroll and worth the effort. My partner and I dined on a tuesday night and the place seemed fully booked with a nice relaxed atmosphere. The food itself lived up to all expectations, particularly the starters of mussels... More

We hadn't bookended so we got the worst table facing a plain wall covered in a net and decorated with one butterfly. Then food was good. My tomato salad starter was meticulously prepared: free of tomato skin, studded with finely chopped green pepper and red onion and further garnished. It was big. The shoulder of lamb was huge, accompanied by... More

You have to work to find this place but when you do it is worthwhile. I had the best steak that I have ever had, cooked to perfection and with a great sauce. The service was attentive without being obtrusive. The only downside is that they don't accept American Express so I nearly ended up in the kitchen washing the... More

Was taken there for my birthday in March and had a wonderful meal. The gambas as a starter was the best I have eaten in a LONG while and the suckling pig was to die for. Hope to return there sometime.

In the eyes of the tech savvy young (eg my son) just picking the best restaurant on ta makes you a bit of a loser. Well, not if you end up eating at sillar. If the combined view of reviewers is wrong about sillar being the best place in pollensa they aren't about it being a lovely restaurant. We could... More

Wonderful evening with great service. This restaurant may not be on the front line but the quality of food and service are second to none in Port de Pollensa. We arrived as the restaurant opened and were lucky enough to be offered a table - but do be warned others were turned away as the evening went on. Recommend the... More

Everything about this restaurant was of the highest quality. A warm, welcoming place with great ambience. Beautifully prepared, presented and served fresh food which we enjoyed with a tasty bottle of local rose. Our dishes included a lovely salad, main courses of shoulder of lamb which just fell off the bone, and spinach and ricotta ravioli. Siller makes its way into... More

What a wonderful experience the moment we 6 walked into the restaurant we felt at home. The owner came to greet us and his enthusiasm for his restuarant was a joy. It wasn't Michelin star but give me this restaurant every time. The food and service was outstanding. We just relaxed and let them get on with it. Full with locals... More
