Superb family-run Mallorquin restaurant

Wonderful little bodega with mother in the kitchen and family running front of house. Suckling pig and a proprietary paella to die for (it's green, not yellow). Great atmosphere and very local. The kitchen can be a little slow, so good to place an order ahead of time for larger parties.

We ate here last night, as we do every time we come to Mallorca. It was busy, with a mix of locals and British, and there was a nice buzz about the place. We were served quickly and the food was up to the usual high standard. The salad starters seemed more generous than ever and the main courses weren't... More

Traditional, delicious food. Very busy with locals. Decor inside fantastic - like an old wine cellar. Highly recommend. Friendly staff.

One of our favourites in Mallorca offering typical Mallorcian dishes and famous for Lechona or Suckling Pig. We have been going here for years enjoying delicious, well cooked authentic food and bargain house wine. So what went wrong last night ? Quite simply the Lechona was served (unnecessarily imho) with a greasy gravy that did nothing to complement the moist... More

Well, Mallorquin friends had recommended Celler La Parra and we are so delighted we took their advice. Such delicious and true examples of specialties of the island - Frito Mallorquin was the best ever, Croquetas amazing and everything on the menu sounded delicious. Such an interesting interior with an eclectic selection of items to gaze upon, no excuses for being... More

Enjoyed a night with friends who live locally, who have eaten here many times before. Had traditional food, lots of wine and a great atmosphere.

House red at €5.50 a bottle, excellent soup to start, followed by wonderfully tender suckling pig with crackling crisp all over. The fact that you have to book at least 24 hours ahead almost every day says it all!

This is THE place to eat true Mallorcan food in an amazing room filled with huge wine vat ends and a host of rural Mallorcan bits and pieces. The male staff are effective and helpful and guide you through the menu if you wish. A few local characters sat at a big table enjoying their drinks and tapas as we... More

There are dozens of places to eat in Port de Pollenca. You might want somewhere with a sea view, somewhere to people watch in the market square, or somewhere off the beaten track serving good food at reasonable prices. La Parra is on the main Road to Pollenca, so you are better off eating inside which is large with high... More

This is away from the main tourist areas of port de pollenca on the road out of town. It is only about 600 metres from the beach & well worth the effort to walk there. Very good simple Mallorcan food at very reasonable prices. Has an outdoor seating area but it only overlooks the road. Service is efficient & friendly.Well... More
