Very well made food, and very large portions

The food was good, the atmosphere was calm and quite with very good service. They were not "in your face", but managed to provide exactly what we needed: quick ordering, sufficient time between the courses, and no stress. We visit this restaurant every year we come to Puerto pollensa. The lamb cutlets are the most delicious we have every tasted...and order 5 portions for the 5 of us-no menu necessary. So devious are the lamb cutlets that we always overlook the hard, rather stale bread-the soft yucky olives and roadside location. Alas this year we felt really cheated-having... More

We pre-booked and were given a table inside this fabulous setting. Service was brilliant with all the waiters taking time to talk to the kids. Food was top notch and we had the local tumbet and chicken croquets to start. Main courses included a shoulder of lamb, stuffed aubergines, fish and peppered steak all were fantastic. We had a bottle... More

Maybe they had an off night, although looking at the way our food was presented i doubt it. Its just not a great restaurant. The only saving grace was the suckling pig, the rest of it actually warrants 2 stars. Its incredibly busy, booking essential sometimes a few days in advance. Inside seems to be just for locals, which in... More

We only found Celler la Parra by accident on the main Pollenca to Cala san Vicente road just up from the Café 1919 roundabout. On a weekday evening the place was full and we had to make a reservation for the following night: tells you something. I think it's a former wine cellar. The décor inside looks the part, although... Food was excellent, roast lamb and suckling pig. Friendly attentive staff. Quaint & unusual restaurant, house wine 5.50 euros and it was excellent! Booking is recommended as it also gets busy with locals.

We came here with a group of sailing friends, one of whom recommended it. Its OK as a typical tourist restaurant, but wouldn't recommend it as "tipico Mallorquin". The frito was bland, and pierna de cordero tough. Didn't bother with desert. A very limited winelist. Overall, overpriced for what it offers. There are many better places within walking distance.
