Iru is on the front in Puerto Pollensa a perfect location with no traffic passing just lots of people watching. There is a play park on the beach opposite very safe for children while parents can enjoy their delicious meal. The staff are very good, attentive but not intrusive, the food is delicious and very fresh. The prices are reasonable... More

Where to start. We discovered this restaurant on our last night and it was amazing in every way. We sat outside with lots of atmosphere and welcoming, friendly, professional, attentive staff. Our starters were excellent with beautiful dressings, fresh cheese and crispy, nutty salads. The main courses (fish, pasta and meat) were all delicious and my husband adored the mouthwatering... Overlooking the stunning Puerto Pollensa beach where you can watch the colourful twilight skies set, whilst enjoying a gorgeous dining experience. Visited this restaurant last year and we ended up going 3/7 days during our holiday! The owner is incredibly passionate of his family business (was his great grandmothers) business which is portrayed by the exceptional, on the ball, friendly... More

Went here 4 times in a 7 day holiday as the food was so good. Staff were great, friendly but not too annoying! Food was well presented and delicious and reasonably priced considering the location. Highly recommend the lamb!

Great regulars stay on the Iru menu, such as Suckling Pig, Chocolate souffle which are excellent. Ask for their signatures and you will not be disappointed. A couple of items are not quite up to par. Calamari is OK but not the best. €1.75 each for an average bread roll is expensive (no butter or alioli). Have fish, paella, suckling... More

Started the meal with a gin and tonic, great choice! Between us we had a range of fish dishes which we all enjoyed. Worth paying that little bit extra for some great food and a finer dining experience. Next time I would like to try the paella as it looked great on others tables!

As we were staying at the Daina Hotel(see review) on a B&B basis this allowed us to sample a different restaurant each night and so glad we went to IRU. Started with the parmesan risotto with truffle and it was great. we both chose Fish for our mains and I had hake in a Majorcan sauce and hubby had the... More
