Visited for lunch and enjoyed excellent service (in English I might add as my Greek is not very good). Place was full of after church local Sunday diners...always a food sign to me. We had the Dakos Salad and the days' special of lamb braised in olive oil and wine. We ordered one portion of each to share, which was... More

We truly enjoyed our meal at Stelois & Katina. It was arguably the best meal we had while on Crete. It's authentic Cretan food but with a little something extra. The baked shrimp were amazing, as was the eggplant dip, souvlaki, fish soup and other fish dishes. We were a group of 8 and everyone was very pleased with their... More

We stopped by for breakfast, one of the few places that where open! There was only one choice but it was perfect. 8 euro for a large spread of cucumber, tomatoes, cheese, fire grilled bread with an amazing soft boiled egg. Not to mention a large bowl of Greek yogurt with nuts and honey! Great way to start the day!... More

We stayed in Kissamos, Crete, in September 2014 and came across this delightful restaurant by chance. We had had a busy day travelling and we stayed on the outskirts of the town. We walked into Kissamos to see what restaurants were there and when we returned to the hotel, it was getting late to change and go back there again.... More

This restaurant has a great location, great garden in the back, and delicious food. We had the stuffed zucchinis flowers, the lamb with potatoes, the best ''cretan'' bread (grilled bread with olive oil, sea salt and fresh herbs!!!!) and a Stelios and Katina salad, a 1/2 liter of white wine, for 32 euros. They offered the dessert (nut cake and... More

Kissamos city center does not offer a lot and restaurants are expensive and very touristic...so lets walk 10 min away to the center and go here! See from outside this tavern seems to be very rustic, but it has a large room inside and a nice garden on the other side. Staff is very very kind, friendly and accurate. We... More

On each of my visits to Kissamos and I try and spend at least one evening at this lovely restaurant, Stelios & Katina, and each time that I dine there I am always rewarded with a lovely meal and also first class and most welcoming service - well done George, and thank you! This restaurant is located slightly away from... More

Very tasty food with lot of herbs and spices (great zuccini flowers!). Prices like everywhere near (about 22 euros for 2 dishes and 2 drinks, including tip). Service was great, also they brought us some dessert for goodbye - a piece of nut cake and ice-cream, and a bottle of tsikoudia (raki) of course. :-) If you want to have... More
