**** very fresh seafood, most expensive meal by the minute of our lives!

During our wonderful day-long tour of the Galician coast organized by Viajes Tambre S.L. our charming guide Diego gave us our lunch break in downtown Finesterre after our bus trip to the Finesterre lighthouse. My Spanish husband had already looked for the best restaurant around, so we spent no time... read more

During our wonderful day-long tour of the Galician coast organized by Viajes Tambre S.L. our charming guide Diego gave us our lunch break in downtown Finesterre after our bus trip to the Finesterre lighthouse. My Spanish husband had already looked for the best restaurant around, so we spent no time window-shopping but walked quickly to this restaurant. We were given... More

So it had to happen, nearly three weeks in Spain, finally had Paella for Sunday lunch today. Now since we are in Galicia, the consistency is a little soupy and no burnt bits at the bottom but it was still very nice. Langoustines, shrimp, clams, calamari and razor clams firmly in evidence and the dish was quite flavorsome. Sunday lunch... More

Ordered the smoked cod and egg salad. Received two small pieces of fish and a cold egg. My friend ordered the warm goat cheese salad. Hardly received any lettuce- the bowl was full of apricots and walnuts. Poor service. For a seaside town, a decent portion of fish is expected. Absolutely our worst meal in Spain.

Thank you for the opinion but I have something to tell you ... You have order two salads, we consider this like a starter not a main course in case of you like it bigger just let us know. We allways made the same size filling the bowl with assorted lettuce and add the rest ingredients, the smoked cod contains... More

Last night on the Camino, need a good restaurant to finish, and O Centro was a great choice! The especial menu was great! The sympathy and readiness of the employee was very good! Recommend this one!

We had a fantastic lunch at this restaurant. The fish is fresh and deliciously prepared. I highly recommend the pulpo a la mariquita (octopus mariquita style) you will not be dissapointed. Service with a smile...

We took the set menu which ended up being an excellent choice. A nice mix of Galician food with fresh tasty produce. The advise on wine was unfortunately not as good, but the waiter promptly changed bottles when we told him we didn't like his choice.

Great location and the downstairs section was busy wih people so we were hopeful for fresh seafood. Fish soup was a lovely start. However, the razor clams and seas scallops were very overcooked. The mussles tasted watery, like they had been boiled. Very disappointing meal that was also very expensive. Service was good at least.

I walked the El Camino, so we ended up at Finisterre; we were walking down the village and we found this place, so we enter. Most of the touristic places in Galicia coast we found are quite expensive and the service is nothing special or very bad. We ask for some sopa gallega, oysters and pinchos; first they take too... Thanks for your visit, that´s a pity to hear about this .... but we like to work with the local providers and fishermen so if we aren´t in the season of any fish or shellfish we simply don´t have it in the menu. At the Fisterra bay there are NOT oysters, there no places or fishermen who work with it,... More

Located by the port it can get busy at local eating times so we booked early for dinner and a table by the terrace. Views were nice but not a must do. Staff was attentive and the menu offered a good variety of options. We went for Pulpo a la Mariquita and a black rice with squid and cockles. Food... More

The restaurant is the same as all the other tourist places along the coast. Nothing special. We were disappointed by the number of menu items that were not available. The fish catch of the day was edible but lacked the Gallego preparation we expect in Galicia. The staff speaks no English, although they try hard to be helpful.
