We have been visiting this pub for a few years now but on our last visit we were disappointed. It is difficult to park and the rooms are a bit depressing but the food and atmosphere always made up for that. Beer Good and charming interior. Friendly but would need to think twice about staying there - parking / food
Chalky has given the the pub something essential to make places like this work! SOUL! Amazing welcome on a Monday night. Thats right - the landlord working on a MONDAY night. Wonderful food and beers - good wine selection and underfloor heating for our four legged friends. Enjoyed the banter and a great game of nails - a doffed cap...
