Very sad to say that the owner has chosen to close this location. There are still teo others close to PV but the food is not as good and the prices have increased. Disappointed.

The staff was friendly, prices are good, and food was great!! This will be a restaurant we will return to, had a great time. There is a hotel next to the restaurent with ocean views for about $40.00 a night, the rooms are nice.

The quality of the seafood is VERY GOOD. i dined at El Coliguita a few times during my winter stay in Bucerias and was thoroughly pleased each time. Granted the FREE tequila is rough but the Margaritas were very good. The fish platter is their signature dish and the mixed seafood platter will satisfy completely. My friend who ordered the... More

Not a favorite. You can't make up for the shortcomings in the quality of the food by trying to cover it up with cheap tequila.

From the tequila shots to the grilled banana and Kahlua after dinner, this restaurant is a keeper. The coconut shrimp s the best ever, and you get about 12 for 119 pesos, which includes all the extras. Most things on the menu are priced similarly. The margaritas are 50 pesos, and are big and beautiful. Warning, they take only cash!

El Coleguita was recommended to us by the gentleman who managed the house we rented in La Cruz...so glad he did! My only regret was that we didn't go earlier in the trip cause we would have visited multiple times. Our food was GREAT, especially the fish wrapped in shrimp and bacon!. We had kids with us, 1 and 4,... More

We were introduced to this place by friends when it was known as the "109" because most of the menu items cost 109 pesos. The prices were jacked up 10 pesos, so now it's the "119" (Lobster will run you more). Still the best. Tequila, fish broth starters, and lots to choose from on the menu. Mango margarita last trip... Well I've written about El Colequita before but we were just there again with friends. Prices have gone up 10 pesos, big deal, still the best value anywhere for perfectly prepared shrimp. The meal includes tequila (endless), soup, main, fried plantain for dessert (endless), kahlua and milk (endless) all for under $10CDN, AND a beautiful view of the bay, how... More

We have eaten twice at El Coleguita's and will certainly be back. The service is excellent and the food wonderful and plenty. You get fish soup to start, free tequila shots, a great selection of food and dessert for about $11.00. Our table of four each had something different and it was all hot and more than we could eat.... More

We went for a dinner the other night and were amazed at the quality, portion size (significant) and value. The tequila shot to start was a bonus but the food was fantastic, all four of us ordered different plates and ended up sharing so others could sample. After a great meal and marguarita's we were pleasantly surprised how low the... More
