Memorable luncheon experience.

I visited the restaurant located inside Club Tapiz one afternoon after some nearby olive oil tasting visits. The dining room was nicely done, with sensitive decorating that matched the age of the old hacienda. The luncheon menu was quite modern, and not at all what I was expecting, without any... read more

My husband and I dined here during our recent trip to Mendoza and were disappointed by the meal, despite some of the good things that we had heard about the restaurant. The menu was very reasonably priced and the actual restaurant was nice and romantic, but the food was very bland and not worth our trip there. Our appetizers were... More

First off, with all due respect to the other travellers, I do not understand the negative reviews for this place. My husband and I had a fantastic dinner here, even better than at 1884 Francis Mallman which we felt was average. The restaurant is located at Club Tapiz which is a lovely, upscale small boutique hotel in the middle of... More

The restaurant is located at a winery and includes luxury lodging. There is an upstairs and downstairs dining room. We ate downstairs. High ceilings, pleasant dining room, excellent service. The wine list is mostly the Tapiz brand of the property, which is good wine, at reasonable price. The menu was creative and the food was excellent. We arrived at 9... More

We wanted to visit the restaurant at Club Tapiz for a treat during our tour of Argentina - we needn't have bothered. The restaurant was ridiculously over-priced for the standard of the food. The hotel looks really lovely and the wine was very nice but the surroundings cannot compensate for the fact that the food was so poor. The starters... More

We were sent to the restaurant by the concierge at Las Cavas and were immensely disappointed. The service is pretty good but nothing can compensate for the food which reminded me of my school cafeteria.
