I absolutely LOVE italian food and the top of that list is PIZZA!!!!! Bread dough and cheese what could be better??? :-) Needless to say I had to try this establishment. La Cantina uses a brick oven to bake their pizzas. One pizza offers you about 8 slices, thin crust, so share it how you will. Gourmet, quality ingredients certainly... More

Excellent pizzas, which you can watch Guiseppe prepare and cook. Near to Coco Reef hotel if you are staying on B&B basis. If you're hungry a pizza each will do the job but they are large so 1 between 2 with a salad and a pitcher of Carib is perfecto !!

This visit was long in coming, dating back to 2009, when I first wanted to try the taste of oven-cooked Italian pizza, but they were under renovations. After that, it was all all-inclusives, so not much eating out. Eventually my last visit to the sister isle, a rainy Friday of an equally rainy weekend in November, I got my wish.... More

I know Pizza isn't really Italian, but this is the best Italian pizza I've had, including those eaten in Italy. The Gorgonzola with peperoni was delicious and washed down with a pint of Carib and really good value. One pizza will feed two, or you can take some away.

I went to La Cantina last week and me and my husband had very nice pizzas. They were massive and nice and thin, very Italian. The wine was OK and the service was good. We were surprised with the bill that TT$30 had been added on, 10 each for aubergine, olives and capers. I had asked for a certain pizza... More

I usually stay in Tobago 4 - 6 weeks every second year, and during my stay I at least visit La Cantina once a week to have my Italian pizza, which is my favorite, and so far, I`ve never been disappointed. The service is always good, polite and professional and they have a good selection of wines. Staying in Tobagi... More

I would recommend La Cantina for good pizza and cold beer. The purpose of the trip to Tobago was diving, but everyone still has to eat. The first night we did not have a car, so our choices were limited. I had been to La Cantina a few years earlier and enjoyed it then. We were a group of four,... More
