We chose this restaurant as it looked really good on line so we made reservations for 7p.m. on Friday March 7, 2014 (the restaurant began its dinner service at 6.30 p.m.).When we got there we were quite impressed with the ambiance but we did notice that it was a large restaurant that seemed a bit understaffed. When we arrived just... More

The way to the restaurant is very dark and somewhat sketchy... when you first get to the restaurant the atmosphere is quite nice. The chairs are uncomfortable, they do not have enough padding to put on every chair. We all ordered except one of us who was taking a while to order, when she was ready the waiter said that... More

Has the decor of a large brash Indian restaurant, with furnishings similar to that of a hamburger bar. Only good feature was live music from pan player Jaime Ramsey! Waiting staff not as attentive as at Coco Reef Hotel, who do set such a high standard. Our first courses were good, second courses rubbish. We did not linger!

Popped in here twice during a recent holiday, staying in the Coco Reef. Annoying, this sister restaurant is not connected to the hotel so you have to walk around a block to get to it on roads that are dark and not paved. However, once there, it is a pleasant place. The manager seemed to have everything in order. Staff... More

While vacationing in Tobago, my husband and I dined at the Cafe Coco for my Birthday. The decor was very inviting with tiny lights everywhere, The entranceway is a stone arch and passes by a large tile fountain. Roman plaster statues are placed strategically about the rooms. Although it is open-air, it was quite comfortable with many ceiling fans and... More

Our party of 4 arrived on a Monday night around 8.30 and was seated immediately. The atmosphere could have been relaxing if the seating wasn't so uncomfortable. We were offered water (Blue Water - for which we were charged, NEVER have I dined anywhere and was charged for still water). We ordered virgin pina-coladas and they all arrived poorly blended... Got there at 7 with a party of 10 incl 4 kids. Drinks, appetizers and main course orders were taken quickly. ... and then it all went downhill from there. An hour and ten minutes later no food delivered and then when it came they forgot the kids meals... how long does it take to make chicken nuggets and fries?... More

We went to this restaurant our first night Tobago. Lovely atmosphere but absolutely disgusting food. We started with a fish chowder that made Campbell's canned soup appear as a gourmet dish. On top of this "soup" they had thrown a couple of semi raw or badly cooked vegies. The meal went from bad to worse and the service was terrible.... More
