Though it was hard with the English - our waitress (who is probably is a co owner with her husband), explained each and every meal, with a big and welcoming smile. It was a very welcoming place, while all other places were closed since it was 11pm. And she was still patient enough to walk us through a wonderful 3... More

This is not a tapas bar or a fancy restaurant, iIt is an honest meals house ‘casa de comidas’ serving good sized dishes catering for people who have been hiking all day or someone who enjoy their food. The bar is on the ground floor serving drinks and sandwiches ‘bocadillos’ (as well as serving as an overflow when the restaurant... More

Food was typical of the area, but well done with good sized portions. Compared to other restaurants in Torla it seemed like a good value. Nothing fancy - just a good meal after a day of hiking.

Cosy, like you eat at home. The food is not verry special, but it is verry chaep (15 euro incl a bottle of wine). We had a good meal. The owners don't speak English and there is no English menu, so for us every course was a supprise.

Whether you want one caña y bocadillo (beer and a small sandwich) or something a bit heavier, don't hesitate visiting La Brecha, great ambiance and good company. Don't forget to try the home made Pacharan and Aguardiente.

Family run restaurant with a chap set menu that was tasty. The staff were a little too keen to bring us our next plate.

Torla was bustling with tourists on a summer night, and many restaurants were full. La Brecha was our third choice, but it should have been our first. The food was terrific. The gazpacho was outstanding, and both the meat and fish dishes were excellent. The owner was obviously keeping an eye on the food and the service, and he was... More
