The seafood are very fresh. All that is good. For cooked dishes, I would recommend the seafood paella with inky rice. Only problem is with the service. While it's not bad, it's very uncharacteristic to ask for tip (albeit not verbally). In Japan, either you add the service charge to the bill, or just be proud that service is part... More

Come here several times a season... never lets you down. The best king crab, the best oysters, the best sea urchin, great "amaebi" and "kanpachi" sashimi, everything always equally fresh. James & team are the best hosts.

I would have rated this 5 star if not because of the price a bit on the high side, well majority of seafood restaurant in Niseko is price about the same, what struck in my mind is definitely the OYSTER and the king crab leg, those are in Divine Class ! You MUST do a reservation as this is always... More

Top rated restaurant often faced with difficulties in securing seats for big group. I only managed to secure 5 seats in one of the 4 nights we were in Hirafu. The address is confusing as it has Kutchan in its address which is another town some 20 minutes away but in truth it is located in lower Hirafu!! So take... More

As always the highlight to any Niseko holiday is dinner at Ezo. Food and service is superb. Some of the best oysters i have ever eaten. James and his team continue to show the way in Niseko. Don't miss out when there.

We visited Ezo the second time this year, and our memory served us well. This is one of the best seafood restaurants ANYWHERE. Fresh seafood, salads, and ingredients. Reservations are a must (sometimes 2 months in advance), but, as my wife said: "I always leave here happy!"

As you'd expect. I visited with my girlfriend who is a seafood fan. The oysters were very good, the tuna excellent and the scallops great. There are also vegetarian options on the menu if you don't eat seafood. All in all, a very nice, cosy restaurant, but make sure you book as it's very small and understandably busy.

Reservations are a must. It's cozy and unpretentious, and the food is spectacular. Seafood--and food--as it should be: Fresh, perfect complements but minimal adornment. Great place to unwind and enjoy a great meal with friends.
