Lovely lunch

We just had a lovely lunch here, nicely unusual menu, great service, great cooking. Not our first visit, probably about the fourth and certainly not the last. My one and only criticism was that the batter on the tempura haddock was not a proper tempura batter and was therefore somewhat greasy... read more

My one and only criticism was that the batter on the tempura haddock was not a proper tempura batter and was therefore somewhat greasy but perfectly nice apart from that. It was such... More

Having eaten here a few years ago, we took some friends to the joiners in Feb and it was very nice. Definitely up there with the white swan in shawell and the Grey Goose in gilmorton for local foodie pubs. The restaurant is homely and serves good local ales, food is hard to fault without being fantastic. Maybe the specials... More

Had a most amazing meal, nothing was too much trouble. Worth every penny! Very attentive, an appropriate setting for our 20th anniversary.

We regularly dine at the Joiners Arms and we're never disappointed. Last visit was on mothers day which was so busy we were asked to leave a deposit to secure the table. The food is always excellent and the service extremely personable and attentive. Lovely to have the proprietor come and ask how our meal was. Our favourite restaurant in... More

We liked the look of the Joiners website, so decided to give it a whirl. The village of Bruntingthorpe is very nice and the pub is located at the end of a cul de sac, so parking was tricky. The place is decorated really tastefully, lots of beams and natural wood. The lady at front of house was very charming... More

Booking to finishing excellent. Courtesy call to check the booking the day before, great service and excellent food. Four out of four visits so far excellent...I look forward To the fifth!

I went with my wife and two friends who are new to the Lutterworth area for a Friday lunchtime meal. The speciality is fish and chips. As it should be for traditional fish and chips, it was nothing fancy but was freshly cooked and not too much batter - very tasty. The price was very reasonable and I'll definitely go... More

This place is a must when in the area. Can be a little tricky to find but well worth the effort. When you have been once you will come back

The welcome and service were excellent, as were the scallops and black pudding starter. The roquefort and avocado was bland. The medaillons of beef were good, but the liver was over-cooked and sinewy. Puddings a disappointment. Wine list limited. The cost was £90 for two of us; eaten here before and thought it expensive but good value. Didn't feel that... More

As we will be out of the country next Sunday our son reserved Sunday lunch yesterday and we were not disappointed. It was very busy, always a good sign, but our order and food were efficiently taken and served. They provided a small portion for our three year old granddaughter. The only small complaint would have been that our table... More
