More than wonderfully gourmet food - an entire experience

This was the best meal we had on our month long visit to Spain. The food was amazing in itself- each dish was wonderfully artistic and creative, presented beautifully, and absolutely delicious. The setting was magical. We couldn't really understand how dining could be 'theatrical', and didn't know what to expect - it was a suprise, and it certainly was... More

Who would think that a small town like Ainsa holds a Bib Gourmand restaurant? This place is fantastic. For a low price og 100 euro we (2 persons) had a 5 course dinner, but it consisted of 13 different servings - and best of all, it was artistic and spectacular served and tasted like a dream. Our only regret is... More

I loved the whole experience. There was a choice of outside or inside seating. It was a magical eating experience . There must have been 10 or 12 courses. All small and exquisite from a cocktail made with nitrogen so plenty of smoke,to stuffed olive on a spoon and an olive hanging from a bonsai tree. You won't go if... More

The setting was beautiful. The food was delicious and visually spectacular. The attention to detail is unlike anything we have ever experienced. A local friend made a reservation for our family of 4. We are Americans and our Spanish is not great. We have 1 vegan, 1 vegetarian, and 2 omnivores. They made special dishes for the two non-meat eaters.... More

I've read nothing but positive reviews, but our experience did not match that of other reviewers. I found the concept interesting but the execution left much to be desired. The service was spotty and 2 or 3 of our entree orders were somehow forgotten. After waitng quite some time the food arrived (after others in our party were finished) and... More

I sat on the patio. This is not a restaurant. It's a theatre that serves food. The food is good but I would never go back. It's way over the top and quite expensive. The whole thing is a pantomime. Save yourself the bother and go to another restaurant where it doesn't take 3 1/2 hours to have lunch.

I had a lovely meal here. I had the tasting menu, with a large number of dishes. There were some fascinating and unusual tastes. I had a cheap bottle of wine that was superb. The cost of the meal was very reasonable given its quality. A couple of points: there are a great many courses in the tasting menu and... More

We had a very entertaining lunch here in August -- it took most of the afternoon. I feel honour-bound to report that it was very much style over substance; not all of the flavours and combinations worked, but the presentation was worth the price of admission; from the sublime to the silly in one meal. If you've been to a... More

Having been fortunate enough to enjoy dining at some wonderful restaurants including 1,2 and 3 Mitchelin star, we decided to follow up a recommendation to dine here. My goodness what a good decision that was. It is hard to categorise the experience. It was certainly not just a meal but so much more. It was fine dining and theatre wrapped... More
