Lobster menu was a nice combination of ingredients. The first course was mixed-starter ( lobster shooter is the best). Grilled lobster was the main meal for us. The nice thing from the main meal is the combination of spinash and lobster. For the dessert, we skip it, because we are so full. Nb. This restaurant is so easy for people... More

After you ride from Amsterdam to Ouderkerk aan de Amstel, here is a good place to stop for lunch before your return. We had a small, classic steak tartare and it was excellent. The service fluctuates from boisterous to absent but when told they are alert and make up for it. We will return.

Great location on the water for a nice sunny late summer evening. The meat is excellent and the service is good. Decent wine list, great sgroppino as dessert. Private parking on the back. If the weather is nice I strongly recommended the outside terrace. It had warmers above the tables.

First time @Paardenburg after being at all other restaurants in Oudekerk. Good experience, because of the weather we had to sit inside ... bit warm in there. Friendly service. Good food, we liked the Ierse tournedos van de grill. The red housewine was not good, but they gave us another one instead.

Went there for 'Lobster Friday'. What a disappointment! They brought something totally different than what we ordered. Hardly any lobster at all while still asking lobster based prices! We were so disappointed. When we complained they totally brushed us off. The guests at the table next to us had the same experience. We were all disgusted by their attitude. Will... More

We had dinner here and stayed in one of their meeting rooms. The restaurant has a very nice and friendly atmosphere. Friendly people, quick and knowledgeable service throughout the afternoon. Very flexible as we postponed our dinnertime 3 times, due to our meeting that ended significantly later, which was absolutely no problem while the restaurant was really busy. It offers... More

Nice quiet area, beautiful terrace, friendly staff. Menu is not huge, fits on one page, and has nice combination of fish and meats. Prices are definitely on high side! The special of the day were the mussels which were ok. Not the nice big juicy ones you get on the Mediterranean cost, cooked in white wine and bit of garlic... More

Have been for supposedly "quick" lunch in a beautiful setting. We arrived later than planned ( got stuck at pharmacie due to another snail dutch customer service there- arrrrr ) so had no choice but to sit in Paardenburg. "Lobster bisque" is from crayfish ( though they do specify now in their menu, finally, that is from the crayfish ).... More
