Very enjoyable meal

My mother and I stopped in the lovely town of Le Tréport on our way to Le Touquet and had lunch in the quirky restaurant on the sea front. We had a wonderful meal at a very reasonable price. The quality was excellent, the quantity just right and the price good value at 15 Euros for a three course... read more

My wife and I have just eaten here on the 18-90 euro menu. The chice and quality is fantastic. The starters alone would almost cost the menu price in England e.g:- Starter plate of fruit de mere, Languistene, 3 oysters, mussels, clams, wincles and whelks, main massive mussels and chips, desert home made profiteroles filled with fantastic ice cream. Starter... More

I have not eaten here for some years - the last time, some years ago, it was terrible, but there must have been a change of ownership as I had a really excellent dinner this time. For a winter Wednesday evening the restaurant was very busy, and the two waitresses were very helpful and friendly, and my dinner (warm oysters... More

My wife and I were classically trained chefs in London many years ago so reckon we know a bit about food. We haven't tasted such fresh well cooked well presented food for a very long time. The clue was in the clientele. Quite a few locals eating plus others just popping in for a natter. Always a good sign. Service... More

We turned up rather late in the evening, and after finding most restaurants closed or closing we were made more than welcome. The food was delicious and fresh, and our waitress had the most pleasant and friendly approach despite our rather poor French and us trying to explain that we wanted an a la carte starter between us and the... We had a lovely lunch here two years ago so we were looking forward to visiting again. Sadly we were very disappointed, although the restaurant was almost empty we were pushed behind a pillar where we couldn't see or be seen by the staff. I had Camembert wrapped in filo pastry, it had been so overcooked there was no cheese... More

We decided to try this seafood restaurant, having read reviews about Le Bleu Homard next door where we have always been before, which didn't seem to be so favourable any more. So we decided to have a change! The decor is certainly different to be sure. It is quite garish, very bright and gaudy colours, almost Caribbean style. There's even... More

We had dinner here one evening, the service was fast and warm and the prices were decent. We both liked the food! I recommend the st jacques menu.

We've eaten here before and as always it was excellent. They do a really good seafood 'plateau du marché' for just 19 euros. Ask for a 'pichet' (peeshay) of wine (red or white, 25cl or 50cl - 'quart' or 'demi'). Much cheaper than a bottle from the list. Decor is garish but staff are friendly.

The food and the service in the restaurant was very good, but the Jazz music from from the Hammond Organ was really a night mare.In sum a good restaurant for deaf people.
