The Dufferin Arms is famous throughout Northern Ireland for its great food, perfect Guinness, live music and the best craic that money just cannot buy! We pride ourselves in the friendly welcome that greets all our customers, come in a stranger, leave as a friend for life! In our restaurant we serve everything from a light bite for lunch, to fresh lobster and langoustine from Strangford Lough, plus steaks, burgers, fish and chips, to name but a few of the dishes on our menus. One dish worth a mention is our famous, secret recipe, Seafood Chowder. We are a family friendly establishment, and if you have any dietary requirements, we will do our utmost to accommodate them. We are also able to provide a venue that is perfect for family celebrations, Christenings, private parties etc. Restaurant Opening Hours: Mon-Thurs Midday-3pm/ 5pm-8.30pm, Fri-Sat Midday-9pm/ Sun Midday-8pm

Lovely authentic pub

This is certainly not a gastro pub, food is average. Instead, it's a very friendly, cosy, authentic pub with very friendly service and a lovely atmosphere. When we were there, they played Irish music in the bar and everybody was very friendly and welcoming.

It had been a while since we last ate here and were delighted the quality of the food was as good as we had remembered. Excellent value and the waitress was ever so cheerful and attentive.

Have used this bar/ restaurant a number of times and feel standard has slipped. Food was poor, has been good in past ...but now thinking of giving it a miss

Authentic pub with no pretentions, good pub grub and service. Live music is a mainstay with a great session on a Saturday afternoon from about 4 oclock,Traditional and Bluegrass are to the fore but all types catered for.

Having recently moved back to Ireland, we stumbled across the dufferin and how glad we were that we did. The atmosphere is fantastic the food is lovely and the staff are very friendly and full of information about the area. Have been back a few times since with friends and family and they have all agreed.

Having lived near killyleagh for many years we have never ventured into the duffer in arms (now we wish we had of went sooner) From entering to leaving we were made very welcome. This place was booked for a meal following a christening. Arrived to find that everyone had been crammed into one room. This was uncomfortable and if there had been an emergency dangerous. Mentioned it to a member of the waiting staff and nothing was done. I left and after a while telephoned to speak to the owner/manager. Told he was... More

Visited during a business trip. It's a great pub with a good atmosphere and plenty of history. In addition, there are live music nights and friendly staff. The menu is standard pub grub, with plenty of choice and the kitchen seemed flexible to specific requirements.
