Best meze in 11 days in Turkey

Lovely courtyard. They take you into the kitchen where a colorful array of meze, vegetable and grains, is laid out on a long table, along with beautifully grilled lamb. All delicious! A most pleasant evening.

What a lovely place this is. Super friendly staff, attentive, quick & delicious food and wine. Beautiful romantic setting in a garden. You can choose your dishes in the kitchen, like fried zucchini blossoms with cottage cheese! We loved the slow cooked lamb & the meatballs with cinnamon and yoghurt as the maincourse! We had dinner here twice during our... More

We tried this restaurant on a week day and this is such a charming place where you feel secluded from the normal daily stress. The courtyard is lovely, well decorated and hidden at the end of a small alley. The food was simple and delicious. The whole venue is not pretentious and deliver exactly what you expect from it, all... More

Very good tasty food, rustic decoration, basic service. One piece of herbal dish, cost 6-8 lira. Few dishes cost three of us 160 Lira in total, which you may pay 1/2 in other city.

We had heard great things about AY and we're lucky to get a table at short notice. The setting and ambience is magical in the outdoor courtyard. Meze were amazing and served within 15 mins of being seated. Unfortunately our main dishes took an hour to arrive, by which time all of us were off the boil. Service was slow... More

We tried to get a table one evening but it was unfortunately too busy. We tried again for lunch the following day, and I'm extremely pleased we returned. The food was delicious - lightly fried stuffed courgette flowers, sweet potato dips and all sorts of original and tasty delicious mezze dishes for starters followed by the most succulent slow-cooked lamb... We went to this place because it was supposed to serve good food. It was fest time and crowded. My experience was not good. I did not like the tastes of the food. There are a lot of kinds of local food served and I thought none of them was special. However serving people were very kind.I would not go... More

We had a blast eating here. The decor is amazing, we sat in the courtyard under the trees and a heating lamp. You go into the kitchen to see what the chefs cooked up that day and choose your meal. Since we heard the mezzes >> mains, we shared the slow-cooked lamb and ordered 5 mezzes. The lightly fried stuffed... More

We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel concierge and it didn't let us down. It is traditional Turkish home cooking where you go into the kitchen to select your meals. The setting is what I would call a Mediterranean-styled garden which was homely and relaxing, but the restaurant is not that easy to find. The food was fantastic, all... More
