Inventive Food

This place was the best food that we had in Alacati hands down, and some of the most inventive, interesting food that we had during our stay in Turkey. It wasn't cheap, but was worth it.

The atmosphere was terrific and food consistently great. You can tell the owner and chef really put their best into making the food and experience a treat for all of their guests. The secret is getting out about Su'dan so I would suggest making reservations early during the peak summer months.

Sorry to say it is a little tricky to find but local restaurants were very helpful in locating. The food was exquisite. We had a number of meze starters including squid/octopus that were very nice. For main we opted for the Persian kebab and we were not disappointed. We also had a portion of Persian rice that was a lovely infusion... More

My favorite spot in Alacati. A place of taste. Everything is great about their new place, the food, drinks and the atmosphere. It's a great lovely garden, with lemon trees. Lovely music from Woody Allen's soundtrack was playing in the back when i went there last time. Must definitely try the cocktails, they have some quite interesting ones. My favorite... More

Finding Su'dan was not the easiest thing but we knew it was going to be worth it :) With no sign on their door they have managed to keep themselves isolated. Just steps away from the noisy centre crammed with people you enter to this most peaceful, garden where you can sit under the old olive tree watch the moon... More

Used to be a great pleace now the service sucks, they took 15 minutes to get water, coctails without vodka in them, no vegeterian choices at all! The atmosphere is very dark, prices are extremly high beetween an strater main desert and drink u and up paying 150tl Avoid at all costs!

We had intended to sample Sudan s cuisine and than try other places in alacati. However such was the excellence of our dinner that we decided to dine there in its wonderful garden settings each night of our stay .Menu was small based on the best available seasonal produce combining some traditional recipes with creative touches such as smoked and... This is a really special spot on the quiet side of Alacati, in a beautifully-lit garden with lamps in the trees. The food is really amazing - inventive and delicious. Absolutely loved the raki and pineapple cocktails and the apple and basil vodka cocktails. Ingredients are put together in such interesting ways, you will have a really memorable meal. The... More
