Food was fantastic, wines were great, excellence in combining typical ingredients of the sicilian tradition. I wish they had couscous when I went but I ended up having an incredibly good pasta dish named "strozzapreti mille e una notte".....the tuna steak with pistacchio was also outstanding.

Strolling around the lovely village of Marettimo you will bump on many restaurant insignas, but we suggest to extend your search uphill, in the upper part of the hamlet, just to find this little pearl. Ask for a table with a view, enjoy the fantastic flavors of the traditional food and Sicily wines (warmly suggested to order a bottle, rather... More

This family takes great care not only to use the best ingredients, but to combine them in such a way that shows they care. There is a talented chef in that kitchen, and it is evident in the taste of the food. Not only is the food wonderful, but the atmosphere is romantic and relaxed - high above the town,... More

We were served by some completely not competent/ not trained boy (I cannot call him waiter) . He poured me on the light jeans the glass of wine – luckily it was white wine! Instead of apologize and clean up the table he kept explaining that he did not notice. He has not cleaned up, did not take even a... More

we got suggestion for this restaurant by a guy of marettimo, and it was a very good advise. the restaurant is just outside the central lanes of marettimo, and they have a terrace with a superb view. there was another table of 40 people, and the waiter has been very kind in helping us to order the food in order... We have been just in this restourant during our stay in Marettimo but it is definitely our favourite. We stayed just two days and went there both times. Food was very good and people working there was very nice. The place was very crowded. We tasted both pasta and fish and they were well cooked and well presented. We will... More

Thank an advice of a bar owner (Caffè Tramontana) we went for a pizza. The place is not a top restaurant but the atmosphere, the curious cats around the tables, the quality of the pizza and the grilled tuna fish made the difference. Really fast Service and absolutely reasonable price.

Such a gorgeous terrace and the food was so good! A lovely very old building with an amazing kitchen. We were visiting the island and staying with a local named Lydia, who knows everyone on the island. We were treated like family everywhere we went. If you are going to Maretimmo, you must eat here!

The view is beautiful, the atmosphere is friendly, the food is very good. We tried "pasta con i ricci" which was very well prepared. Wine list is focused on Sicilian wines.

This was my favourite of all the places we ate on the lovely island of Marettimo. Having said that much to my annoyance I didn't get my act together to make time for dinner at La Scaletta. So what do I really know - I think it would be worth a return visit just to Maretimmo just to sample a... More
