The Willows Inn

The meal was wonderful with friends from many places in Canada. The service was very good as they were very busy and accommodated us as we needed. We did not wait long but perhaps did not notice the time as we were a group of eight and had lots to talk about.

We have been visiting this Restaurant for the past seven years. The Roast Beef on Thursday night is our favorite and the lunches are also worth the visit.

Loved that I saw a beaver treading water while I was eating! The food was good, but for the price I felt it should have been better. The service people were attentive but they had major kitchen problems so it took over an hour to get anything. Then everything came at once, appetizer, salad, main course. Maybe it was a... More

A group of six of us became seven as another friend happened by. We sat at a table on the upper patio with a great view of the lake. Service was friendly and fairly prompt. Everyone seemed like his or her meal. I loved my mussels meunière; they were succulent, tender and multitudinous.

We all gathered here on. A sun/cloud/ rainy unpredictable weather day, our once a year pilgrimage to this lovely resort, for lunch. The food is always super fresh, choices are too many, I had the Freshly made French onion soup, the best I have ever tasted , and then a most delicious seafood sandwich with shrimp and crab nestled in... The Willow has offered lakefront dining on the Lake of Two Mountains for many years. The view is gorgeous, the patio in summer is perfect, and the interior is cozy in either the Pub or the dining room. Fine food or pub fare is offered and, on the whole, I'd usually good but not great. A nice spot.

Four of us arrived for lunch at noon on an early August Tuesday. We were on the road by 1:10. Service was very attentive and quick with attention, although our server did act nonchalant or exasperated with questions about the menu. Other servers (all young) seemed more lively), so we did not experience service or timing issues as others suggest.... More

The Veggie wrap presented in a sad, tiny portion with loads of fries was good. The Veggie burger is a better selection as the size is just right with some nutritional value. The side salad that is served with the burger is limp and rather small. The coleslaw garnish with pickle is nice. Dishes of average appearance were served by... More

Dear Marie B, Thank you for taking the time to write your review.
