Ye Olde Hob Inn is a grade II listed building situated in Bamber Bridge. Stood back from the main road, it is instantly recognisable by its thatched roof. The history of Ye Olde Hob Inn is particularly interesting none more so when in 1943 fighting broke out between American soldiers and the Military Police. Locals have come to know it... More

Whilst in Preston area due to a family party we came across this 'gem' Hubby being a real ale freak and not having had a decent pint in ages due to the fact we live in North East Scotland was delighted we found this place. Not only a decent pint but a really lovely meal . I had the fish... More

Visited with family on sunday lunch, great new spring dishes on menu, especially the lamb cutlets with shepherds pie, cooked to perfection. My brother also enjoyed the bacon chop, another great addition. Great visit once again!!

My husband and I dined this evening following on from several recommendations and we weren't disappointed! I had the cheese and onion pie with triple cooked chips, he had the burger with cheese and bacon. Both beautifully presented. Delicious from the first bite to the very last. Attentive staff, and a very pleasant atmosphere. We'll be back for sure!
