Recently visited for the first time but will not be the last. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The duck spring rolls are the best I've ever had. They were crispy and very tasty with a lovely dip and side salad. Followed by fish and chips which were equally as delicious. I look forward to my next visit.

Once again called in, new Chef on duty, we were a bit aprehensive, it turned out this did not hamper the great food and service, if anything it was better! I cannot praise this establishment enough. I bring customers and clients from all over Britain and they all agree, there should be a Hob Inn in every town,

This was our second visit to Ye Olde Hob Inn. The first visit was prompted by great review on Trip Advisor. On this occasion we ordered Lancashire Hot Pot for 2 and fish and chips for 1.Forty minutes later we were still waiting, despite being the only diners! When the Hot Pots arrived (with no mention of the wait) they... More

Hi there. Sorry you didnt enjoy your experience. I will look into the issue. I do stand by the hotpot however and we do cook with potatoes and diced salt marsh lamb, as this is a traditional hotpot. Its based on a James Martin recipe and with our own twist. Ultimately all food is subjective and we appreciate if it... More

Although the staff were very friendly and helpful the food though presented nicely left much to be desired .. I ordered the deluxe chicken burger with cheese and bacon .. What I got was far from deluxe .. The chicken had been cooked to within an inch of its life the cheese was in big chunks not even melted and... More

Hi! Sorry you werent totally satisfied with your expereience. I will look into the matter as of course, all our food is 100% home made and its rare that we get issues with either the chicken burger or fish fingers. They are made on site and to order. Thanks for your review and we hope that you give us another... More
