Ranked #2 of 14 restaurants in Casablanca
Certificate of Excellence 2014
Cuisines: Chilean
Dining options: Reservations
Description: Although it's several month ago we ate twice in this restaurant I am sure it's still worth visiting. The food was excellent and so were the wines. The staff was very friendly and ambitious. We visited Macerado during the week so it was not very crowdy. Against that we had some nice conversations, in english. In the weekends it can be very crowed. They are not the cheapest restaurant in Casablanca, but in our opinion highly recommended!

Whether driving from Valparaiso to Santiago or touring the wineries of the Casablanca Valley, this is THE place to have lunch or dinner. In a converted historic house this is the place for authentic Chilean cuisine. Just 1/2 mile off of the main highway outside of the city of Casablanca. When you are in an area surrounded by great wines,... More

Macerado was by FAR the best dining experience we had in a 10 day trip to Chile. Located in a historic house, as you drive into Casa Blanca off the 1st exit from Ruta 68, there is no need to driver further into Casablanca for food. The wait staff was charming and informative. We had Ceviche to start along w/... More

This is certainly a jewel of a restaurante. One of those very few places where you feel at home, with real dedicated service from its owner, charming place, fantastic food, great wine variety and best of all great value. Ever thought Pinot Noir could be served as a coctail? Do try the Pinot Sour, yes! Pinot Sour!! Simply a Gem.... More

A perfect afternoon delight at this lovely family-run restaurant. all organic food with the freshest fish available. Good selection of tasty wines to pair with outstanding gourmet food. Very cozy ambiance. The house made balsamic vinegar is especially delicious--just a subtle hint of caramel. The owner bottled some for us which we purchased to take home.

I really enjoyed my cerviche and my ribs. The ribs had a delightfully picante seasoning and the cerviche Had that classic citrus flavor.very well done . The service on the other hand is SLOW.its off season and I think they are short handed

We've been to this restaurant twice and have absolutely loved the food. Because of their location in the Casablanca valley, they also have access to and knowledge about the best wines of the region and country. The food is just excellent - a gourmet twist on typical Chilean dishes and ingredients. The restaurant itself is lovely and the owner and... More

We enjoyed our lunch at Macerado after a visit to Kingston Family Winery. We brought the remainders of our wine bottles with us to have with our lunch. The food was fresh and well prepared (ceviche was wonderful, fresh greens and chicken salad, grilled fish in a butter/shrimp sauce, and a tender pot roast - type of beef). We even... More

Great food, service and cozy atmosphere. Prices a little steep, but generally ok when compared to quality.

Recommended by the staff at our hotel, we first tried Macerado for lunch but were too late. Fortunately we decided to try again and it was one of the evenings they serve dinner. We had a fabulous meal including the salpicon followed by the ravioli and fish special of the day. The attention to detail in both food and service... More

Great restaurant in Casablanca. One of the few restaurants in Chile that know how to prepare a descent salad (instead of plain tomatoes without dressing). I had Vidriola fish, very well prepared. Served wines are very nice though not spectecular. The waitress was also very attentive. The ravioli is another dish that is recommendable. Overall, if you are nearby Casablanca... More
