I go to the Bean and Brush quite often for breakfast at the weekend. They do great coffee and the food is always nice and fresh.

We've been going here for a while the food is still good quality, lovely and fresh, but customer service, particularly in the arts area is going downhill. Staff used to be really helpful and friendly, but on our last few visits they've seemed disinterested and generally unhelpful. The arts centre is the only reason we go to the cafe so... More

Visited this lovely little place for lunch on Saturday with the family. A delightful place with fantastic homemade, quality food at fantastic prices for the amount of food. I had the fish finger sandwich on doorstep white bread-and I have to say it was amazing-filled me up until breakfast the next day! The fish fingers were moist and definitely not... More

I come here all the time. I usually go for the soup and sandwich deal which has always been great. There's a good choice of food items and drinks and sweet treats too. They do Teapigs tea which I love and the atmosphere is lovely. I have also been with a friend to 'relive our childhood' through trying out the... More

I used to really rate this cafe but the last three times I have visited I have found the food really disappointing. Today's visit was a case in point - I ordered the junior ham sandwich for my daughter which came on stale (and I mean crusty) bread with a packet of wotsits emptied over it. The Northwest panini was... More

We visited this cafe on a Sunday on an unplanned stop and glad we did. We had been after a decent coffee and tea all weekend and this cafe didn't disappoint. The flat white coffee I ordered was creamy and properly made and the tea was good. It is a very family friendly cafe and appeared to be popular with... More

I've been here many times, it never fails to impress. The coffee, hot chocolate and tea pigs are all ways spot on. They do a lovely breakfast with locally sources produce. The cakes are scrummy, with mini cakes for mini tummies! The arts abd craft area is always buisy, so pre book. The staff are on hand to help out,... More

I visted Bean & Brush with my daughter (5) and we had a great morning. We arrived early and had some breakfast, there's a great selection. The sausage butty was great and the coffee decent too. The menu for lunch looked good and there are also homemade cakes and milkshakes for those with a sweet tooth. After eating we went... More

......that after seeking out fabulous local produce, the cooking lets it down. Today the bacon was cold and the scrambled egg was served as a solid, cold lump. Such a pity. There's a nice atmosphere and the toast was good but we won't be in a rush to go back.

Have visited a number of times, I often pop in for hot drink and cake while shopping in Sale and have been to the art studio with my toddler a few times - he loves it. Fantastic choice available and my 3 year old loves the home made pizzas. Have only ate there once and was a bacon sandwich which... More
