Excellent food, great atmosphere and great staff - worth every $ - make sure you reserve in time, this place fills up rapidly each night. Closed on sundays.

I hardly could believe that we could find a restaurant of this class in such a remote place. The prices are OK for a menu of this quality. The service is impecable and the food delicious. If you happen to be in the area of Ojochal in Costa Rica, do not miss it.

This is a beautifully appointed restaurant that one would imagine associated with a five star hotel. It is in fact situated along a small river in the little coastal town of Ojochal. The dining area overflows into the garden with some more private areas. The menu is a mixture of fine cuisine and local specialties making for some unique dishes.

As many other reveiwers have noted, Ojochal has an abundant number of outstanding restaurants. Citrus is definitely among the best. The setting is dramatic and beautiful for outdoor dining and the food is delicious and masterfully served. Overall, a restaurant to be remembered and not to be missed.

We spent the better part of February, 2013 in the area and were amazed by the quality of the restaurants. Near the top of our list is Citrus. It had great food, service and atmosphere and very reasonable prices. We would recommend it highly. Our young waiter, Adolpho (who also can be found at Villa Leonor) was just the best.

The food here was good, but Exotica, just up the road, is infinitely more charming. This place was a little stuck-up for us.
