Went for a Christmas lunch. Prawn starter was excellent. Rump steak was good, if slightly tough, and the home made chips very good. Ice cream served for dessert was the best I've had for some time. The waitress was very pleasant and polite.

The service is friendly, the food is good, nice and hot, but not great. However it is very good value for what you pay. Getting parked near the restaurant is a bit of a hassle. Other than that, pleasant surroundings, nice enough for a lunch but several other places are a just a little bit better.

Have eaten in the restaurant on a few occasions, but today had lunch in the Black Bull bar, attached. Myself and two friends were impressed with the food and the pleasant staff. Nice peaceful surroundings, and not rushed to leave. Will definitely go back, either with same friends or with my husband, he likes the food there too.

Nice restaurant. Food was good, plenty of choice on the menu, they also offer pre theatre deals that offer good value. Definitely worth a try.

Came to Cumbernauld to go to the theatre - found this place on Main Street in the Old Village. It's right next to the Black Bull pub. Friendly service and good, reasonably priced pre-theatre menu with plenty of pizza and pasta options. Will definitely be back.

We were in Cumbernauld on business and were looking for somewhere to eat. We searched trip advisor and this place seemed to rate well and was local. We turned up and were the only 3 people in the entire place which we didn't think much of as it was a Monday evening. We were a little confused as to why... More

We went to this restaurant to celebrate our daughter's 11th birthday this evening. The portions are huge and the quality of the food was good. It was my daughters birthday and we supplied a cake and the usual bits (including a birthday banner) the day before. We were assured by the lady that we gave the party "bits" to that... More
