The food is good. It's your average Cuban/Puerto Rican food. They also have a sushi bar. It's not out-of-this world food, but the prices are really good and it's close to where I live. It tends to get loud on the weekends, and that part I don't like. Some waiters are nice and some aren't. The food arrives on time.... More

Good for lunch or business lunch. Great prices and service. The valet parking needs to improve. Only one person for all the custumers

For New Year's, the dining options were limited, but we fortunately found Caramelo open. There were 4 of us for dinner. The menu had enough items for a range of choices in each category. There was a sufficient amount of bottled craft beers available, in addition to the traditional choices you would expect. Bread service was fine, with butter and... More

Last Sunday I went to lunch with my daughter. She suggested Caramelo, besides enjoying the time with my daughter, I enjoyed the food there. It is a good mix of Cuban, Puerto Rican and International food. I heard that the sushi is good but I did not tried. I recommend it!

They had great variety of food. You must have the Grilled Skirt Steak Marinated in ginger and soy sauce and the Mahi- Mahi fried in batter is to die for. Excellent service!

I just cancelled my reservation to this place. It would be my first and we were a party of 4. Simply put I can not sponsor a restaurant where uncorking price depends on the category of the wine. When I called to make the reservation I asked if they allowed to bring your own wine and if so how much... More

Caramelo is a very busy lunch spot with a varied menu. You can get anything from sushi to Cuban inspired food, fish, meat or pasta dishes, even risotto. Service is fast and prices are okay for its location. I have always had fish or chicken and never been disappointed. The food is okay, nothing out of this world. If you... More

This place is owed by the same person of Ropa Vieja. The menus and the food were almost the same. The service was better but the food was not what we've expected...

even though It was easter sunday, the place wasn't packed, so it was super ok. the atmosphere and food were cool. But our waitress was a bit annoying. She kept on interrupting the whole time. She even made some weird voices. Awkward!

I like the idea of the restaurant, more than i like the restaurant, if that makes any sense. I love the decor, the menu... the cuban food is really good and in all honesty, the mofongo is AMAZING. Best dish in their reppertoire! The sushi is OK, not amazing. If they step up the sushi it will be really good.... More
