Wonderful setting and well prepared food

This place is set next to a polo field -- so our view from during lunch was the polo field and the Andes. They were very cooperative with my wife's gluten issues and helped with her order. The winery and restaurant also have a polo field outside the patio. The rear patio is the best place to sit. Suggest you make reservations in advance. Their specialty is lomo or steaks that are perfectly cooked and seasoned. There salmon is also very good.

This is a stunning property with amazingly tranquil views of the vineyards and polo field from a rustic looking building. The covered patio with a light breeze makes for a very relaxing and peaceful meal. The quality of the food and of course, the wine is very good and you won't be disappointed. The tapas are larger plates than you'd... More

We stopped for lunch on a Monday afternoon and had a nice table on the patio with a beautiful view. Our waiter was good and made recommendations. We started with a Pisco sour which was excellent and the ceviche was also good. The grilled meats were ok.

I hadunch at this restaurant during a wine tour of the San Fernando region near Santiago, Chile, and whilst the food was good, it was in no way exceptional. The wine tour was what I was really interested in and we were given various wines to taste produced by this company. The guide explained all about the origins of this... More

This was my second visit to this amazing restuarant. The setting is one of the best. The Malbec wine delicious and the food the best I had on my trip to Santiago. The chicken was done brilliantly as was the beef. The meat is prepared on a barbecue on coals and so the food is fresh and flavorful. Put an... More

Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. One of the nicer restaurants that the local vineyards have to offer. Unfortunately don't expect top notch service. Upon arrival, and fifteen minutes past our reservation, we clearly overheard the staff comment on our late arrival, given that we were the last table for the day. However the food was... More

If you are in Santiago or Valparaiso it is only a two hour drive to this hacienda. Stay in one of the five rooms, tour the winery and enjoy the finest food in Chile. The grass fed beef or the fresh caught seafood provides great choices. The wine is world class.

We had lunch at Casa Silva after touring the winery. We ate on the porch overlooking the polo field. Lunch was good, wine was fine. We had the traditional parrilla meal. Not very personable, the service was excellent--like any large restaurant. It was a very nice introduction to wine making in the country. A huge winery with beautiful B+B rooms.... More

Vina Casa Silva Restaurant was a dream come true with the setting, food and wine. The setting is old colonial Chilean with food prepared very well. Try and sit along side the polo field. The grilled meats are wonderful as they are cooked on the open hard wood grill. The visit to Casa Silva winery and restaurant capped off a very... More
