We had an excellent dinner experience in Pietrasanta. Eclectic and creative cuisine, great service and attentive staff. Try the avocado with shrimps and crayfish, baked figs with gorgonzola cheese, honey chicken with rosewater, ricciola fish with potatoes. Good choice of wine, lively atmosphere. Prices quite reasonable for Pietrasanta.

Its 7 years since we ate here and on our return this evening we found it extended and improved. We arrived early without booking and got the last table. Our waitresses were fluent in several languages and were able to give us a long list of 'specials' for this evening. A starter of baked fig with Gorgonzola, crispy pancetta and... More

After sitting down and reviewing the menu, we had a moment or two of trepidation. It certainly didn't offer the types of food we'd been eating the last two weeks. We were glad we stayed, because the food was tasty, complex, and retained a certain Italian authenticity in its flavorings and pureness of ingredients. If you want to skip the... More

Stumbled upon this place last night as the original restaurant we had picked was closed. What a great discovery, original menu and absolutely delicious. Fantastic service too, our Italian isn't that great so one of the waiters kindly translated the whole menu. Will be returning again before we leave!!

I went in this restaurant and the experience we had was amazing The staff was really professional and kind but the top was the food. Italian dishes enhanced with an oriental touch... Simply great. I do suggest to take the prawns or the lobster

It is on a street with a lot of activity and shops and yet one feels as if it is a quiet street. The staff are very attentive and spend a lot of time explaining the dishes. I have eaten there twice with vewry different foods each time and it was excellent.

A mixture of Italian, Moroccan and Indian cuisine, this is far from the normal trattoria you would find in Italy. The restaurant was recommended to us by our guest house and did not disappoint. We had 2 courses each, half a bottle of wine and 2 coffees for just over 70€. Real home cooking, nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

Great dinner tonight in Pietrasanta….. Yes the weather remained cold - but we were not to be deterred. We had planned to go to different spot -but walked by Marzocco and decided it was the right place for us tonight. We were not to be disappointed. We were greater by Pinot - the fabulous owner of the establishment. He put... More

This is such a cute place to dine for an evening. You should make a reservation for sure! The place was packed with Italians, which is always a good sign for me! This is kind of a Moroccan, Italian menu. The baby roasted chicken was so tender and I would swear it was organic. The service was superb and everyone... More

When you park in the main car park of Pietrasanta you will see 3 roads in front of you. The road on the left is Via Del Marzocco and at number 64 which is 150 metres up on the left you will find Trattoria Il Marzocco. The owner is an eccentric Italian with a white beard that changes colour according... More
