Stayed in Italy for two weeks and visited Filippo on the last evening out. Initially we were wondering around looking at the restaurants and picked this restaurant based on a recommendation. We didn't book but were met by Filippo who re-worked his seating arrangements to accommodate 8 of us. The food was absolutely fabulous and really full of flavour. The... More

Our hotel recommended this restaurant & it was a fine suggestion, by far the best of all the restaurants we experienced in the area & the one most worthy of review. It has all the components for a great evening. Fine food, fun, friendly service, & a great setting. Three of us enjoyed three stellar courses plus a delicious amuse... More

after a reccommendation by a local friend we went to see Filippo. To make it shorté we had an outstandingly culinaric journey through tuscanies specialities and wines. Food and wines (recommended by their somelier) were perfectly matching without being overpriced, the service was unparalleled and even coming without an appointment and with to baby push chairs we were offerd a... I was in Pietrasanta for 5 days last week and ate here twice. Both times it was phenomenal! I joined TripAdvisor explicitly to write this review. Dessert being my favorite part of the meal, I feel I need to give a shout out to the white chocolate mousse! It put a smile on my face. We literally had an eight... More

We enjoyed our dinner here. The atmosphere is great, the food excellent and the service good. We ordered the menu offer, which I consider a bit of a scam. The portions were tiny, I reckon half of the normal portions judging by what was served at the adjacent tables. Nevertheless excellent food good service and with 2 full menu's and... More

Many tourist like sitting on the street, watching the crowd go by. I personally don't love this idea, but this is the best restaurant on Via Stagio Stagi. The food is uneven, some times very good, and some times not so great

We tried Filippo's for lunch after reading about it in our guidebook, and thought it was great. The décor is quite minimal and it is modern in style, with an open kitchen. The homemade bread was lovely, the salad starter to share was delicious and the mains excellent too. We had two very good glasses of house wine and coffee.... More

Very expensive without nothing special! People are not friendly and food is very poor. I was expecting something more! I won't come back again!
