After reading the good reviews on TA, four of us had dinner here while on holiday in Tuscany. Out of everywhere we ate on holiday, this was the best. Everything was great, even the drive to the restaurant, following the river through the valley, delightful picturesque countryside. We hadn't booked a table so we were lucky they has space for... This restaurant floored me about 7 years ago and I have been back several times but not for a few years now. The macaroni ragu dish was amazing as was the sage butter pasta which I have often tried to recreate at home to no great success. This year I'm taking the family from Oz and my new toddler -... More

A small restaurant but well known throughout this part of Tuscany for serving delicious food and great value for money. Meats, pastas, home grown white beans and of course the profiteroles! Make a reservation as it is very popular with the locals..a good sign! We regularly visit for lunch and then spend the afternoon splashing in the river afterwards. Heaven!

A friend recommended this resturant as "one of his favorite restaurants in the world". He did not disappoint! On our nine week European venture, Da Sandrino was by far the best restaurant experience we encountered. Everything was wonderful from the food, the homey atmosphere, the staff and even the adventure getting there (not the easiest place to find, and you... More

How can I start to describe my favorite place? We love the food, especially the maccheroni pomodoro and ravioli burro e salvia. The meat dices are also exceptional! We love the vino bianco frizzante!! The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is great! It is also a great place to visit with children, since they have a small playground... More

We ate here on a wednesday night . Unfortunately, there is little outside space, so we had to sit inside. This was the only downside, as the rest of the meal was very good. We had a bottle of red wine, a local tuscan IGT selected from the displayed bottles, which was actually quite good. The antipasti were the ususal... More

After a great trip through the mountains we had dinner at Da Sandrino's. We had the antipasti, ravioli, tagliata de manzo with parmazan and rucola and for desert torta di bosco, crema catalana and also cantuccini vizante and the vini rossi di casa. Everything was fresh, very tasteful, service was fast and friendly. We especially loved the meat and also... More

We read about this on Tripadvisor and decided to give it a try and we are so glad we did. After typing the address into our sat nav and following the directions we weren't sure where we'd end up. The restaurant is a quaint trattoria on the side of a stream. The food was plentiful, very good and very reasonably... More
