Poor service and scones weren't scones. Not worth your time or money. Asking people to extra for another tea cup, so you can share a pot of tea ridiculous!

The fingers were good but the dessert was the best! It was very generous! My wife also enjoyed the tuna salad. I want to the the pudding next time! The space was a bit tight but it had a sense of coziness. The server was very pleasant and patient with my toddler.

Had afternoon tea here whilst holidaying in Sassafras. The décor has an English appeal and the tea was lovely but the scones were terrible. The didn't look or taste like a scone and they were square bits of cake obviously made by the slab. The lady that service was wanting to get home as it was close to closing so... More

Loved it... Again! This place is very popular, often have to wait as can't book. Well presented home style food with good size serves! As for the desserts...and those ice creams well you will just have to go and check it out for yourselves. A quaint English tradition if you are visiting in this area...or if you are a local... More

Miss Marple's tea room serves very generous sized serves. We went for morning tea and had soup which was delicious and scones. I did not need to eat for the remainder of the day. It was delicious. You need to get there early and wait for a table as you can not book. One often sees patrons queueing on the... More

I haven't been to Miss Marples for such a long time as the first time we went the food was very disappointing and each time we visit the hills there is a queue a mile long outside. But a crime fan friend of mine visited and I just had to take her to this quirky little tea room. What a... More

The tea house decoration is inspired by Miss Marple character from English novel by Agatha Christie. There's a collection of teapots on display in the restaurant. Menu haven't changed much over these years. The finger bites are nice. Shepherd pie is good but no side salad, so that's a minus. There is no reservation so you need to put your... More

Whilst on a visit to the "Dandenongs" we came across Miss Marple's Tea Room in Sassafrass what a delightful place to have lunch or afternoon tea. Meal was delicious, sweets were to die for. I highly recommend this to everyone. Service was great and very friendly. Credit to owners and staff.

This was a quirky find in the Dandenongs. Bing Crosbie music lures you into the English cafe to be greeted by 1930's dresses waitresses serving delicious food. Seriously we were tempted beyond what we should have and the huge helpings were a bit much for us in the end. But I would do it just the same way again!!!!

I went to Miss Marple's Tea room in October 2014 and it far exceeded my expectations. It is located in the beautiful and scenic Dandenong ranges, just a short stroll away from a nature/bush walk through the forest and a variety of cute country shops that sell a range of things from wooden puppets to handmade scented soaps. We spent... More
