Sardine tin has more room

Post mix drinks only a let down. Service very swift and friendly after waiting for table but then forgotten when it came toer dessert. Food good but a little over priced. Over all okay but once done best forgotten.

We just came across this tea shop. The name attracted us. However the tea was just regular Yorkshire tea tea bags. Great tea but not special. The scones were not real scones and no clotted cream. It was a good stop. Enjoyed the tea but it is what it is.

It is a quaint little place and if you go early enough you don't have to queue or wait for service. Most of the staff are very friendly. But the food is overpriced and there is no flexibility if you want to share a pot of tea, for example, another cup would be provided for $ 3.80. The beef pie... More

We stopped into Miss Marple's Tea-Rooms for lunch to find that we had to join the queue for the Tea-Rooms to open at 11.00am. From opening till the time we left at 1.00pm the Tea Rooms were buzzing as customers queued for admission. Which must be a great endorsement for any business. The Tea-Rooms are a shrine to the original... More

A chalet style building with exposed timber beams. The waiteress dressed in traditional impeccable black and white uniforms who were courteous beyond belief. Great service and exceptional presented home style food. From traditional scones and jam to hardy meals. Ps worth the wait to get a table if you lob at there busy time.

Some of the food here is good, some not so good, but pretty much all of it is overpriced. The main drawcard for this establishment is the atmosphere. The sticky toffee pudding is very good, as is the bread and butter pudding, but the beef cottage pie is rather tasteless. We visited on a weekday, soon after the 11am opening... More

Very popular so there's always a wait. You can't book or reserve a seat when you get there so you just have to stand outside or just inside the door until there's a table free.....best bet get there at 11am on the dot (that's when they open) This is a small venue so everyone's quite squashed in but it's a... Wierd yet strangely ok. Don't be fooled by the cream, it's not clotted. I'd happily pay more for clotted. And when is a scone not a scone... when served here. Kinda crazy, kinda nice. Try it once!

Haven't been to Miss Marple's tea rooms in over 30 years. Memories came flooding back as we enjoyed the house speciality Devonshire Tea. A wonderful Sunday afternoon treat. We had about a 20 minute wait to get in to the restaurant but the wait was worth it. A great experience which I have now passed on to my daughters.
