Had a friend recommend it and I have to say, one of the best Steaks I have ever tasted and the Vegtables were clean, crisp and juicy. An English Tudor Style Decor. Will be back, perhaps to taste Pancakes this time. Family run and Nero the Owner who was also waiting the tables was a delight to deal with, very attentive.

Invisible!

Whilst the food was ok, the service by the wait staff was rather ordinary. On several occasions we tried to "catch" the waiter and or waitresses to place a order, we ended up having to go to the bar to order. Certainly not somewhere I would recommend in a hurry!

Had a booking for a Sunday brunch. Was a disappointing morning. A 10am brunch, turned into a midday lunch! Service was rather ordinary, my coffee took them THREE goes to finally bring the right one I'd ordered (thankfully this was then on the house, because I'd waited so long that I was over it by the time it actually got... Recently visited Flippin' Pancakes, it was really nice - in terms of the pancakes. The décor was really old and weird and it smelt old as well. However the atmosphere was good and the so was the service. I ordered the 'King prawns' for entre and they may as well have been titled 'Tiny baby prawns drowned in a cream... More

Friendly staff but very ordinary food. Offer pancakes by all means but don't offer a full menu and then not be able to supply most of the items on it. Steak was poor quality, taste was so so and sauces were commercially made and not of restaurant quality. No mash, only chips, only small selection of wine and a feeling... More

We visited Flippin Pancakes for breakfast and loved it. At first we thought it was a little pricey, but after receiving our breakfasts.. the serves were huge! Great value and really delicious! We tried the big breakfasts with pancakes, but there's so many options both sweet and savoury, and some delicious looking lunch items too. It was very cozy inside,... More

What a great place to spend a rainy day. Very inviting pancake restaurant, with something for everyone on the menu, and roaring fireplace. The 3 of us were very impressed with our choices, which we could hardly eat. We also had great coffee.

To be honest the pancakes at this place aren't exactly anything to write home about, but they do have a lot of options. I really like the canadian which is fried eggs and bacon with maple syrup on pancakes. I only come here because I go to the 1000 steps and want something to eat afterwards with my friends -... More

The venue is lovely with a very quaint and old wrold atmosphere. Although there appears to ample wait staff the service is sketchy and a little disorganised. the menu is very well presentted with a wioder cange available. Unfortunately the meal did not live up to expectations. I would not be inclined to rush back.

Visited on a sunday after a hike , It was not that busy but we were told that the table was reserved and we had to give it up in 1 hour. The coffee was OK, but the food took a good 45 minutes to come, luckily we were not asked to get up after 15 minutes which would;ve been... More

We popped in for lunch here on a cold Melbourne Sunday. We were expecting it be to be lovely and warm, but it was cold! The food was not that good and the service wasn't that great either. We are usually pretty patient, but I got frustrated with the service and food here. It felt like the place was run... More
