Had a friend recommend it and I have to say, one of the best Steaks I have ever tasted and the Vegtables were clean, crisp and juicy. An English Tudor Style Decor. Will be back, perhaps to taste Pancakes this time. Family run and Nero the Owner who was also waiting the tables was a delight to deal with, very attentive.

Great ambiance, big serves, fresh food

Unlike other popular pancake chains, this one seems to be using really fresh ingredients. The serves are huge and I couldn't finish my pancake. Having said that taste wise pancake parlor is probably tad better. Other dishes are also good especially the garlic bread is a must try. The ambiance is... read more

The place is deceptively large and there is a huge range on the menu. The meals were quite large and really really nice.

Hit the spot for a romantic afternoon tea. Relaxing vibe, friendly staff, prompt service, lovely outlook. We had the Canadian two stack pancakes and a coffee which was enough.

I have not yet visited "Flipping Pancakes" because as much as I try no one answers the phone to make a booking- the phone does not even have a message that indicates you have called a business. I have also filled in an online booking form days ago with no reply, and my email has also gone unanswered. Not the... More

I visited this with my family in February. Food was nothing special and the pancakes rather stodgy. We were surprised that the waiter, when asked for maple syrup, commented that they were short of it and if we really needed more then he would try to find some! In previous visits ( a couple of years back) there were always... More

We dined here but unless the service improved will not again. We had 4 couples come in after us, 3 ordered before us as staff just didn't seem interested. 1 couple actually walked out due to lack of staff care. We had to ask for our order twice & then had to wait til the end of our Neal to... More

This restaurant was taken over by new owners approximately over 12 months ago or more. Since then this establishment has been on the decline. Water is placed on the table with glasses. All of the glasses were dirty, one even had food stuck to it. I can forgive one dirty glass but six is inexcusable especially when one is clearly... More

This lovely restaurant is a must when visiting the Dandenong Ranges. Pancakes are delicious, breakfast menu fantastic. Prices reasonable and lovely decor. Will definitely be back. Has a lovely courtyard as well.

I am always a little wary of ordering chicken when out, and why didn't l listen this time.. been here twice first time l ordered the mexican pancake and the sauce was a little watery, thought l would try the place again as everyone else enjoyed it the first time and came here with my son. He was happy with... More

We found the air was stuffy and smelt of burnt oil when we arrived, staff opened the front door and turned on fans possibly having heard us complain after about 30 minutes. The staff were unprepared and the meal took a while to be cooked even on a fairly quite day (approx 40-50 minutes). Prices fine for a family. Garlic... More
