Had a friend recommend it and I have to say, one of the best Steaks I have ever tasted and the Vegtables were clean, crisp and juicy. An English Tudor Style Decor. Will be back, perhaps to taste Pancakes this time. Family run and Nero the Owner who was also waiting the tables was a delight to deal with, very attentive.

Visited on a sunday after a hike , It was not that busy but we were told that the table was reserved and we had to give it up in 1 hour. The coffee was OK, but the food took a good 45 minutes to come, luckily we were not asked to get up after 15 minutes which would;ve been... More

We popped in for lunch here on a cold Melbourne Sunday. We were expecting it be to be lovely and warm, but it was cold! The food was not that good and the service wasn't that great either. We are usually pretty patient, but I got frustrated with the service and food here. It felt like the place was run... More

The food was bog standard- add chips, but what really irritated and points to the heart of people running a business they have no care about is that we were subjected to a commercial radio station blaring at us- you know it was like walking into a Servo or Milk bar really, except you are paying $18 for a meal... We booked a table for 1pm and when we arrived were told that they were full and not taking anymore customers. After explaining that we had made a booking we were seated and, only once we had been given time to choose from the menu, were told that we couldnt order any main/savoury dish and could only order sweet pancakes... We had breakfast .The one with the lot. It was cold bacon undercooked and it took way to long to get our table 35 minutes. Quality of ikea $ 3 breakfast only colder. The coffee was good.

Had lunch today for a friends birthday and I was disappointed. The service was terrible, the food was average, the toilets were messy, outdated furnishings and a lot of dust. Service areas were messy and no front of house to welcome you. Management and restaurant overhaul is needed for this mountain icon.

The place is deceptively large and there is a huge range on the menu. The meals were quite large and really really nice.

Unlike other popular pancake chains, this one seems to be using really fresh ingredients. The serves are huge and I couldn't finish my pancake. Having said that taste wise pancake parlor is probably tad better. Other dishes are also good especially the garlic bread is a must try. The ambiance is nice and cosy. The place is nestled in dandenong... More

Hit the spot for a romantic afternoon tea. Relaxing vibe, friendly staff, prompt service, lovely outlook. We had the Canadian two stack pancakes and a coffee which was enough.
