This is the best Mexican food we've had in Thailand. You don't come to Thailand to get better Mexican food than Mexico. But it's pretty close. Good quality and quantity. You get what you pay for.

We read the reviews of this restaurant and were expecting much more. The food is mediocre and service was extremely slow the night we went. There is a sign saying that good food takes time to prepare but we felt that it didn't need to take as long as it did. We waited for 20 minutes just to get a... More

What a great little Mexican Restaurant - it may not be authentic Mex food but it's fresh, hot and delicious. Jib the owner and his wife are the perfect hosts with both a warm welcome and a friendly chat as needed. All food items are prepared and cooked only after ordering, so if you think there is a wait, you... More

You don't expect to find a Mexican restaurant in Chiang Khlong but this place is great. Everyuthing is cooked fresh to order by the owner who is also the chef. Only has about 16 seats, cold beer, hot food and massive portions. Very good value for money. Recommended.

Who would have thought that in a border town in a country whose cuisine is so dominated by rice and noodles you'd find beautiful fresh bread?! Well it's true! This Mexican-themed restaurant has been around in Chiang Khong for decades and the food is excellent. We popped in for a lunch and enjoyed every bite of our tuna bruschettas. Highly... More

We stopped in here for dinner after reading several of the other positive reviews here on TripAdvisor. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious Mexican food on offer, although we would note that the meal was more American-style Mexican food than “authentic” Mexican food. In particular, the homemade fresh salsa was quite good. In addition to the food, the service... More

Liked....price was relatively inexpensive...Food was "ok"... Disliked...Table was too small for 2 people eating with plates and drinks..No mixed drinks sold (margaritas) even though beer was all around us...Food choices were limited on menu. The smell of smoke made eating unpleasant. I believe this is the only mexican food place in town..Honestly, it was nothing special and we would not... More

Amazing food and fantastic experience! The owner is definitely the coolest character we've met on our Thailand trip. Enjoy!

It's so easy to walk away from a restaurant in Thailand feeling either rather Grimm or quite surprised. Bamboo House was unquestionably a pleasant surprise. The owners are a delightful couple, and their food surpassed expectations. Highly recommend you give it a try.

FRankly I had no interest in Mexican food in a small town in Thailand. We ended up here ( there are no accidents), because the recommended restaurant would not/ could not seat us? I ordered mine without cheese. The owner told me I'd never order pizza without cheese. I shared with me that I do a simply pizza with tomato... More
