We didn't go to sisima, they came to us - to my kid's school event, so this may be the problem as it's possible they didn't bring the best they had on offer of they didn't plan and package the food well. The lamb chops were the only stars shining in this constellation; the chicken wings looked curious and tasted... More

Dear Victoria, We apologize for the not so good experience at our stand in your kid’s school. We take pride in our service and culinary skills. We are investigating this issue (Notably, as part of our healthy food policy we do not have a frier on the premises and hence we do not do French fries). We are happy to... More

I've discovered this place by chance, as my friend asked to someone in the street for a place with wifi. Actually, the wifi didn't worked with my laptop (but with my mobile phone and my friend's computer, it was ok). But finding real coffee (and not real nescaffé) in Kenya is rare and enjoyable. I had a big cappuccino who... More

I met a friend here for the first time..she suggested the Coffee Frosty! One word Yum! And she wanted to share a piece of cake, I said ok...3 inches of cake European Style, again Yum! And I hadn't eaten, so I had ordered the Pita Chicken...came with a small salad and an excellent side dressing! That was my first time,... More

Sisima means "smooth" and the name is ok! Small piace (6 tables), nice atmosphere. Food is good, but something more. In the menu you can find dishes you did not expect to find in Africa. We tried chicken noodles (great) and sirloin steak (great also). they have a bakery with amazing cakes for both breakfast and meal. They also have... More

Sisima is understated and not as well known as it should be. The food is far better than anything else on offer in Nakuru. Coffee is decent (which is unusual for Nakuru). Staff are courteous and friendly. All food is cooked freshly on site and is well presented. For good food you are unlikely to find a better option locally.... More

Husband Barry makes for Sisima Cafe every day that he works in Nakuru ... the day he introduced me the team made a special Black Forest Cake saying 'Welcome to Kenya Mary and Barry". See attached video. Have tried to imitate Jacob's extra-ordinarily delicious Ginger soup .. to no avail.. will have to return very soon for that special taste... More

Everything a traveller needs now and then: good coffee and fast & free WIFI. In Nakuru, this is the place. Found in a small shopping complex, first floor, this brand new place definitely has the best coffee in town. Also their sandwiches and dinners are yummie good. Staff is very friendly and on-African fast!
