Place is ok. Food is hit and miss but ceviche is really good. Service is abysmal. Our waitress left during our meal. No one ever came to check on us or take another drink order. Fed up asked for the check. After 15 min asked again...and again. Finally walked into the kitchen and said we needed a check or wouldn't... More

This place is a little shack literally on the beach. The ceviche was excellent as was the snapper and coconut shrimp. Great piña coladas as well. A great lunch spot close to Playa Conchal.

we came here for dinner. Started well, but then we got pestered by stray dogs. They kept on coming near our table. It is fairly inexpensive, and right on the beach, but you migt be better off elsewhere

I ate at La Casita del Pescado several times. It's nice because it's right on the beach. The first time I was there, the food was good, the drinks were okay, the service was okay. The second time I was there, the food was pretty gross, I didn't have a drink, and the service was okay. Now when I say... More

To be honest, it looked a bit like a classic tourist trap. The food turned out to be fantastic, the sea bass one of the best we had in Costa Rica. Were greeted warmly with nice conversation. Located directly on the beach, suppose a great location during sunset.

Over two different trips to Costa Rica, we have come to this tiny beach front restaurant 3 times. Last week we had a lovely lunch on the beach, under a shade canopy, watching the surf roll towards us. My seafood soup was excellent! The rest of our group was very happy with their seafood choices as well. I thought the... More

Is there anything better than swimming in the warm waters of the ocean the walking up to a place on the beach to have a bowl of ceviche and a beer overlooking the waves? Fish so fresh we could taste the sea. No shirt, no shoes, no problem. Loved it!

The former waiter, Kevin, as others have mentioned was a friendly, but shady host. The prices were high and he always seemed to round things up quite a bit higher, as well as trying to sell you a fishing trip on his boat. Thankfully he is now gone and the owner, who is the marvelous cook, now has her brother... More

Superb location smack on the beach. Food was fresh and friendly service. Fun to watch locals play a pick up game of soccer too! Order the whole snapper if it's the special.

we were walking the beach and could not resist the beachside tables. Roger was very friendly and prompt with our beers and 2 appetizers. Nothing fancy, the beers were cold, the view excellent. Price was high resort pricing, not casual beach bar price. And he did make it clear the bill didn't include the tip. Bathroom was fine for a... More
